((Putting this here mainly as a self reminder: doing a huge time skip for this to take place some time after the huge 'breakup' with we all know who. :la ))

It seemed almost like yesterday that Dallol decided to make her stand and let a certain redhead Negaverse Captain in on it. That she would be remaining with the Knights on the side of Order instead of joining the ranks of the Negaverse though her allegiance would be to none other than herself and whatever cause she saw fit to lend her strength to.

The outcome wasn't pretty of course. She knew that it wouldn't be, especially with her decision to maintain a friendly relation with the one who had come so close to bringing her over to their side. She knew that she was the one who had damned them both to opposing sides so long as this war continued to be waged between the factions that they stood for. That there would come a day when they would have to face off with each other, be it of their own will or another's order. The latter especially on his part.

It was all her own doing and the guilt weighed heavily on the Uranus Page's heart as she went about her patrol after taking a break from the routine for the past week. Or was it a fortnight even? The concept of time was strangely foreign to her now as she made her way to the park, seeking out the solitude and tranquility even though her own mind was far from the peace that she innately sought.

Leucite was hunting.

For the first time in a very long while, he was actually engaged and seeking a target. He was tracking her as best he could using her signature, playing probably the biggest game of hot-and-cold he ever had in his life. He kept constantly moving toward the signature, never once letting up to rest until he could make her out in the darkness.

Snorting, he wondered what it was about the White Moon that required them to dress not at all prepared for combat. She might as well have been naked in that get-up.

Taking the high ground, he started to move parallel to her, before dropping down in front of her.

"You really shouldn't be out and about," Leucite grinned. "It's dangerous for girls to travel alone at night."

Someone was tailing her. A single Chaos energy signature that belonged to a Negaverse Lieutenant - that much Dallol was certain of at least based on her own experience. It was no coincidence that the energy signature of the other flickered in and out of her range of detection as she made her way through the park. It was intentional and she had half a mind to seek the other out just to see what he/she wanted from her.

Almost as if the Negaverse agent had read her mind, she felt the source of the energy closing in on her position before dropping down to directly block her path. A dark-haired young male with a buzz cut who appeared no more than a few years older than her tops. "I was wondering if you were even planning to show up. Or stay out of my way till you at least have backup to help take me down." She responded dryly to his comment, giving a soft snort as she found herself wondering if the Negaverse was now out for her blood after Buddingtonite's failed attempt to bring her to their side. "Got a little impatient now, didn't you?" Whatever the case, she would not be the one to start a fight. Not unless she had due cause to.

"Given the way you're dressed, I don't think back-up is going to be an issue. Though you're what? 15? Your side sure has a strange way of dressing it's warriors - especially its underage ones. You look like you belong in some Sheik's Harem, not on the streets fighting."

Leucite kept his distance for the moment, mainly starting to circle the younger girl slowly. Each step moved him to keep him moving toward her right flank, having no desire to attack her from the front.

"You might as well be fighting naked you know, I'm sure you've given all sorts of dirty old men the wrong idea. But I know the truth of what you are." His eyes started to turn more malicious, more angry with each word.

"You are a cancer, a disease that needs to be expunged from this world. You and all of yours."

Stooping down as he moved forward, he scooped up a big handful of dirt and threw it right at her face as he got in range, the his other hand going for a hard punch to her side.

"This..." It really didn't matter who Dallol ran into, did it? Just about everyone she met for the first time had to make some smartass remark on her outfit. Damn perverts. The whole world was full of them. Dallol fumed, the look on her face hinting at the irritation she felt even as she tried to remain civil with her speech. "... wasn't my own choosing I can assure you. Besides, don't you know that it is rude to ask a girl about her age?"

She didn't quite like the way that Leucite was circling slowly around her like a predator sizing up its prey just before moving in for the kill. There was no doubt at all in her mind that he was up to something. The only question that remained was when he would make his move and how he would choose to go about it. She kept her gaze trained on him the entire time, paying no heed to what he was saying in favour of maintaining her focus on him until all bets were off when his words struck a raw nerve.

"Oh? And you've come to this conclusion based on what we did which's an infinite times worse than the Negaverse siccing your youma pets on the innocent civilians who aren't even a part of this war? You need to wake up to your ideas Lieutenant..." The memories of the carnival disaster were still fresh in her mind and precisely what set her off at Leucite's accusations as she went on to give the older male a piece of her mind.

Halfway through her sentence, she realized that that was the break that he had been waiting for when he suddenly surged forward, her words breaking off in mid-sentence as she took a step back, her ladle materializing in her hand to attempt to parry the blow that she thought was coming her way only to realize that it was nothing more than the dirt from the ground when his fist met her side and sent her flying back a couple of feet until her back made impact with a lamp post. Coughing a few times, she picked herself up, wincing from the amount of effort that such a simple movement required of her just because she had allowed herself to be caught off guard by the other as she glared in his direction.

"That was low. Arschloch."

"It's a war - fighting's not meant to be fair."

Leucite kept his focus on her as she slid back into the lamppost. It had been a good solid hit and he liked when that happened. Maybe his gym training was actually starting to pay off.

Or he was fighting a total scrub - which he hoped he wasn't. He wanted some kind of actual combat, not to have her run away crying to her senshi mommy that a big old Negaverse Officer had hurt her.

Calling forth his flag, he grinned and came at her again, lashing out with his own weapon toward the hand that held the ladle, hoping to knock it from her grip with the snapping pain of the ball at the top of the flag. He wasn't holding back. He was going full strength now.

He would leave this one out, broken and bleeding - a warning to others.

With was Negaverse turf.

There might be some logic behind Leucite's words but that didn't necessarily mean that Dallol was about to subscribe to that school of thought as well. If there was anything that she hated the most in this world, it would be unfairness and assholes like him who would stop at nothing so long as things went the way they wanted them to in the end. She tightened her grip on her ladle, not even bothering to waste her breath on him this time round as she waited for him to make his move. Sure he had gotten her good with his fist, but she wasn't ready to admit defeat just yet.

A quick flick of her wrist accompanying the swing of her weapon in a wide arc met the Lieutenant's flag and barely managed to thwart his plan as she grunted softly and tried to put more force behind it. A diversion. She needed one fast or it was only going to be a matter of time before he overpowered her in the deadlock that they were currently engaged in. It was a gamble on her part really, her lifting one of her legs off the ground and risking being knocked over in an instant so that she could have that one shot at breaking his concentration as she aimed a kick squarely on his inner thigh.

Combat was fluid, even the best battle plan only survived until the first shot was fired. Then everything tended to melt into complete chaos and no matter how disciplined you were - things had a habit of changing mid fight. When his initial plan failed, he reevaluated and forced himself to disengage. As her leg went up he tilted his head, watching the foot come toward him, he knew he wouldn't be completely out of range of it before it hit, so when it struck against his inner thigh, he winced and hissed.

That'll be a fun bruise to explain to Coraline.

But he didn't have time to think about that now. Swinging the flag again, he once more pushed the attack, hoping to get her again with his flag, but almost ready to give up on the weapon for now and go in for a full assault.

Dallol was not above going for a nut shot had Leucite been close enough for her to pull it off. It was a downright dirty act but he was the one who started it all in the first place so she didn't see why she shouldn't pull a couple of tricks out of her own sleeves to help even out the odds some. Besides, it was the most vulnerable spot on a guy and she had no doubt at all that it would achieve her desired effect of incapacitating him unless he had balls made entirely out of steel.

She moved from her earlier spot the moment she saw an opening created by Leucite's disengaging, her arm already swinging the ladle with the intent of parrying his flag when she realized too late that she had mistimed it entirely. Her ladle was met with no resistance, her forearm that held it taking the brunt of the attack with a sickening loud crack with the pain that almost immediately followed earning a cry of agony from her as she let her weapon fall.

Leucite heard the ladle fall more than saw it, his eyes were keeping focused on Dallol's movement and as he heard the metal hit the ground, he increased his assault, throwing in a few knee strikes and kicks into the mix of his flag swings.

He wanted her on the ropes so he could break her. So he could hold her pretty little head between his hands and let her fully understand who had the power over her continued existence.

It was only fun once you broke them.

Dallol saw no point in giving Leucite any more satisfaction than what he got from the rapid succession of blows that he was dishing out to her without any remorse or mercy. Gritting her teeth, she felt the flag land first on her arm then back, her attempts at defending herself while searching for an opening to retaliate beginning to crumble rapidly with every hit she took. This wasn't going to do at all, she realized when she stumbled back from the force of the kick that he had aimed at her. He wasn't going to let up at all until she was down and out which wouldn't be long now at the rate that he was going.

What the Uranus Page did next was outright reckless though a somewhat last ditch attempt on her part to not go down without giving the good Lieutenant the fight that he was looking for. She took a deep breath, threw her weight forward and started to charge towards him while hoping that she might be able to catch him by surprise. Maybe. Just maybe if she managed to pull this off right and the stars were aligned in her favour, this might give her the chance to turn the tables on him though she wasn't going to really hold her breath...

This had gone from potentially dull, to very interesting in a matter of moments. Leucite couldn't help but grin as she charged toward him. If she wanted to make this a grapple, well he was fine with that. As she came at him, he allowed himself a deep laugh, stepping into her charge and lowering his own shoulder, ducking down and thrusting it upwards as she came into range.

He was hoping that because of her forward momentum that she would actually bowl over his shoulder. He was taking a page out of Capt Schorl's book and using his enemy's force against them. He may not be versed in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - or whatever freakish martial art she practiced, but he could learn and apply the lesson she'd taught him to his fighting style.

Worse came to worse, at least she'd not be getting a free bull rush on him. Though he did not look forward to the bruise his shoulder would endure if all she did was bounce off - or worse, stick to him and beat on him like an angry spider monkey.

He was planning to take her head on. That much Dallol was certain of at least the moment she saw Leucite get into position with his lowered stance just as she was about to reach him. That was exactly what she had feared the most the moment she decided to put this plan into motion. So long as she managed to pull this off preemptively without giving the Lieutenant a chance to react in time, there was a remote possibility that she could throw him off balance and proceed to pummel him with her ladle.

With the situation evolved into what it was at the moment, that was now a lost cause. Anyone with a remotely intact sense of logic would know beyond a doubt as to what would follow as a result of the impending collision between the petite Page and the lanky Negaverse agent. And that was exactly what happened when she collided with him seconds later, her shoulder smacking directly into his arm before the momentum caused her lithe frame to bounce off him and send her stumbling backwards a few times before she lost her balance and landed hard on her butt.

Grunting at the rough impact, Leucite was forced to take a few steps back himself when Dallol bounced off his shoulder. Rolling it for a moment, he knew it was going to bruise somewhat from the force of her impact, but thankfully her mass hadn't thrown it out of alignment. Grinning from ear to ear as she ended up on her rear, he decided to move in for the kill.

He snapped off a roundhouse kick toward her head once he was back in range, hoping to end this swiftly and get her the rest of the way on the ground.

Dallol didn't quite come out of the collision unscathed herself either, her arm momentarily immobilized by the severe pain that blossomed from the point of impact with Leucite's shoulder that threatened to override her senses on top of the beating that she had taken from the Negaverse agent thus far. She was in a really bad shape and she knew it. But still she held on in the hope that someone on her side who happened to be in the vicinity would pick up on her energy signature and come to check on them both.

Remaining seated on the ground not because she wanted to but because she had no means with which to push herself off it in her current condition, Dallol began to feel sick in her stomach. She shook her head a few times, leaning forward a little and then squeezing her eyes tightly shut to try to keep the bile from rising at the back of her throat. The kick that she took to her temple next when Leucite's kick connected certainly didn't help matters any. She felt her entire world spin then the pain from her arm spiking to another new level when she landed on it with a muffled whimper, tasting blood in her mouth as she laid very still and made no further movements save for the shallow rise and fall of her own breathing that indicated that she was still alive.
