Amadeus was feeling particularly peeved today.
The boy's platinum blonde hair was perfectly styled, glistening in the warm sunlight; his favorite shirt was freshly pressed, ribbon dancing on the breeze; his white and navy oxfords were clean and shiny, tapping on the pavement with a crisp sounding Ta-ta-ta.
Everything was right. Except everything was wrong.
He puffed, pouted, then stole a glance at the boy sitting across from him. They were sitting at the outside seating of a cute little French cafe in town, which would have been a great outing for Amadeus if it weren't for a certain red head. In stark contrast to Amadeus's restlessness, Xian-He seemed perfectly content just sitting there watching people walk by. The dragon was paying no mind to Amadeus, which only irked the boy more.
"'Why don't you take Xian-He around town and show him the sights?'" Amadeus mumbled under his breath, "What a great idea, like their precious dragon would actually be willing to walk around. It's like he grew roots or something." A short pause for consideration, the boy then peeked under the table to make sure his companion didn't actually grow roots.
When Amadeus looked back up with a breath of relief he found Xian-He staring at him with clear, pale eyes equal part quizzical and ridicule; as if the dragon knew what silly thought Amadeus had entertained. Amadeus could feel the blood rush up to his face.

Today Yasuo was on his own, he let out an inner cry of happiness. Ito was giving him a bit more space for independence and provided Yasuo would return the favour with an extensive outline of today. Yasuo hummed to himself, letting his giddy excitement flow with the music from a nearby cafe. Speaking of flow, there was a rather nice smell wafting from said cafe. He began walking towards the cafe, he jingled his coin purse with the intend of buying lunch.
Today, Yasuo is a man and men buy their own meals!

Frantic with embarrassment, Amadeus stood up with a clatter of his chair before knowing what he was going to do, his lips puckered to an "o" with words his brain hadn't figured out what to say yet. "Oo..You-- you haven't ordered yet!" Pushing the menu toward Xian-He, Amadeus gave himself a mental high-five for his quick thinking, Good job me! Smooth save!
If Xian-He's single eyebrow raise said otherwise, the dragon found it beneath him to comment. Instead, the regal creature simply flipped open the menu daintily and began scrutinizing the printed text.... upside down.
"No, what are you-- oh! Oh you can't read!" This unexpected find and resulting sense of superiority cheered up Amadeus considerably. The boy even felt generous enough to offer help instead of taking the chance to laugh. He sat back town, feeling much happier than a few moments ago.
"What do you want? If we're gonna sit here all day might as well get something to drink... Do you like tea? uh... Ch...," Unfortunately it didn't take long for Amadeus to realize his arsenal of Chinese was much too limited to act as menu-translator. "Cha? It's called cha right? mmm" The blonde looked around, wondering if there was anyone who spoke the dragon's language around.
And that was when he caught sight of a certain kimono-clad child.
Leaning against the railing fencing in the seating area, Amadeus waved his arm and shouted, "Hey! Hey excuse me um," is that a boy or a girl ._. "...the green-haired person with two buns! Excuse me!" After catching Yasuo's attention, Amadeus hopped over the railing (because it would be incredibly impolite to ask a stranger to come to him) and ran over. "Pardon the shouting, are you Chinese?"
(egads I meant this to be short what is wrong with me)
