With the excuse of meeting one of his brothers at the border, Bili had left the company of a small group of hunters and strayed from the heart of the pride. Once the familiar scents became fainter he did look around for the dark shape of Amarantos and the white form of Vesper but he didn’t actively attempt to track his brothers. The pride was one big mess of resentment, suspicion and lately, bitter resignation. The young lion didn’t really know what to make of it and he hoped a few hours on his own would help him clear his mind. He looked far into the distance and for the briefest of moments he considered leaving the pride altogether. If not for his family, he knew for certain that he would’ve left right after the coronation. He also looked over his shoulder, wondering if he’d been followed. While his actions had never been remotely suspicious, Bili wouldn’t be surprised to find one of Shangyue’s pets spying on him.
He sat down heavily, as if the tension of the last few days had joined forces with gravity to bring down the pale lion and he let out a long, growly sigh that seemed to echo within his chest. Bili looked around longingly, still unaccustomed to the darkness around him.

Sorry for the wait! Muses decided it wanted to blow raspberries instead of write rps. He's still healing, but I didn't want to use his pridal cert. XD Meshach felt uneasy. He could still see a few guards during the day, but that was it. There was always so much activity during the day that the decrease unnerved him. He'd decided tonight to sneak a bit closer than what he'd been staying at to see if he could figure out what was going on. How he wished he had an inside source to keep him up to date so he didn't have to risk being seen. This was too important a matter to let it hang while he healed.
The dark purple lion, mindful of his healing wounds, crept quietly closer. He didn't want to go in too far. Meshach was grateful he was mostly a dark purple. It blended him better into the shadows. Unlike the blantantly white shape in the dark he'd spotted. He had seen and watched the shape walk out then sit down. Thank the Great Lion, he thought. The exhiled prince moved stealthily closer, though his wounds told him they were still there. He stopped a good distance away, hoping this lion hadn't noticed him yet. With any luck he wouldn't belong to the Royal Guards either.
"Hello Friend." His voice was soft and friendly.
