Secret Pleasures laughed, dancing nimbly over roots on light hooves and with flowing movements. Several song birds were following her around, dipping and diving around her. Tossing her head and throwing a vivacious smile at any kin who might happen to be watching her, Dogwood, as some liked to call her when Secret Pleasures became too much of a mouth full, led her temporary entourage of birds in a winding performance through the trees. It was filled with mime and expression, but mostly soundless except for the occasional laugh.
Then she slowed down and began to sing, wordless but no less beautiful. The brightness of her dance did not leave, but it changed, drew in and lent her an air of open mystery. A single song bird settled on a horn to sing with her while the others danced in the air around her. Still she was telling a story, a story filled with love and secrets, heartbreak and humor, for that was what she was: a storyteller.Ruriska Short opening, but hopefully something you can work off of.

The storyteller was not alone. Attracted by her song and now held fast by her beauty, Watch Me stood nearby with a look in eyes that could only be called complete adoration. The Kiokote was holding his breath as she sung, barely daring to move a muscle until the Acha was was done. She was utter perfection. By his hooves a chubby Sand Dog was resting lazily on her side, tongue lolling out and tail flopping happily up and down.

When she finished singing, she laughed freely, head thrown back. It was then that she caught sight of a brightness not of the Swamp or birds in the corner of her eye. She swung around with a graceful, patterning of hooves, smiling.
Eyes lowered coyly, she dipped into a low bow. Her voice, when she spoke, was not unlike her song, a deep strength with hidden stories, low with secrets, "To what do I owe the pleasure of your audience?"

The Kiokote made a show of letting out hid pent-up breath, then lowering his head in a show of respect. "It is I who has the pleasure," he replied with a delighted grin, "from this day on I will tell every kin I meet of the beauty I witnessed."

She let out a low, please laugh, eyes bright. Even her approach was a show in a way, steps deliberate and elegant, every movement made highlighting the lithe beauty of her dancer's body. "You flatter me."
"It is not everyday that a doe receives such a great compliment." She stopped before him, always one to enjoy the company and attention of others. It was nothing malicious, simply hedonistic.

He made no attempt to hide his gaze. They both knew how his eyes watched her every step, lingering here and there in appreciation. "If you are not hearing such compliments every day, there is an injustice being done." He smiled, moving not an inch forward no matter how much he wanted to. "May I introduce myself, dear lady?"

She laughed easily with a quick toss of her head, "I assure you, your compliment is a much greater pleasure because such compliments are so rare."
"I don't dance for just anyone after all." She dipped her head down in a mock bow, smile just a touch reserved, but in the most flirtatious way. "Please. It would be an honor to be introduced to a buck such as yourself."Ruriska She is having way too much fun flirting.

"Ah, then I have witnessed a rare miracle?" Watch Me made a show of shaking his head in wonderment. "I'm lucky my hooves carried me here today. Your dance is perfection itself."The buck gave an elegant bow; a trick learnt from his more elegant Acha troupe members. "I am Watch Me, Grand Leader of the Royal Rainbow Troupe. Perhaps you have heard of us?"To the side, his thoroughly ignored Sand Dog gave a high-pitched whine for attention.

"A rarity indeed to perform for one who appreciates the performance so well," she replied, flattered and flattering in return.
She smiled wider at his bow and then at his introduction. Turning a little, she said, coyly, "Perhaps."
But of course she had heard, not only because she was an Acha who loved to dance, but knowing one tribe seemed to lead to others. "You should tell me more."
And she withheld her name because dances were push and pull, give and take; her name would be a gift when she was ready to give it to him.

The Kiokote laughed merrily, knowing well the game she was playing and more than willing to sway through the dance with her. "I should," he agreed. "But I would prefer to show you." There was more than enough suggestion behind those words to make even the most socially inept kin take notice. The dog was ignored by both 'dancers' despite her plea and so she put her head on her paws and went to sleep.

She laughed too then, pitched low and just a touch nonchalant, but she stepped forward, eyes merry and smile inviting. "Perhaps you should."
It was part challenge, part invitation, and every part flirtatious and altogether pleased with how this was all turning out. She then laughed, bright and loud suddenly, joyous, as she danced away from him. She leaped graceful into movement, her light, dancing steps already tracing a pattern away from him. "Come, Watch Me! Let us dance!"
Ruriska xD This is escalating quickly. And poor Perfect Star, getting ignored by both of them. Can't even get a good nap in before being dragged up again.

His kind were not elegant by nature. Not like the Acha with their innate ability to flow and move, to dance and weave. The Kiokote were much more solid, built solely to run. Watch Me, however, had spent a lifetime mimicking his beloved desert dancers and so he followed her. Perhaps he was not as elegant or perfect, but his steps were neat and he made a steady partner, knowing where to follow and where to lead. It was in these moments, Watch Me could forget he was a Kiokote at all. Right now, he was an Acha. Perfect Star opened one eye as the pair pranced away and then gave a very big dog sigh. The over-sized pup slowly rolled onto her paws and followed at a much more sedate pace. Amorpheous Neither of them are the type to be coy about this sort of thing. xD

"Should I be surprised that you dance so well?" She said freely, voice flying with the wind and dropping with her movements.
Her natural grace and penchant for visual storytelling made it easy for her converse and dance; this was her way of life after all. She cared not if he were kiokote, acha, kimeti, totoma, or zikwa; she cared for the fun of their dance, the pleasure of his company, and the heady nature compliments.
And if she were testing his worthiness by more than one means, well there was no harm in that. Only the best for her, though there was more than one way to impress her. That he could keep up with her dance was, of course, in his favor.Ruriska Haha, yeah. They're so "you're hot and I am hot, let us make hot babies". xD Ooooh, can she be pregnant at the upcoming RRT event?

The Kiokote only laughed at her question. Watch Me could have held up a conversation quite easily if he had wished it, but for now, the dance compelled him into silence. So he simply flowed, moving closer with each step. He liked to imagine himself a courting bird, wings wide and graceful. Amorpheous Yep. xD <3 I kind of want him to bring him home to Prize so she can be all 'ugh, not another one'.

She led him through the steps of a flying dancing, drawing him around trees and through the underbrush. She began to sing after a while, flinging her voice into the wind. With her voice she told a story of seduction that glittered with sunlight and the promise of night.
Then she flitted behind a tree and stopped to pressed up against Watch Me. Chest to chest, she leaned in close, her voice singing in barely a whisper into his ear.Ruriska We could do that! xD Poor Prize. I was thinking you could do a fade to black and I don't know, maybe he brings her back to meet Prize/the tribe and that's her introduction to RRT?
