Out again, same as before, though she wasn’t sure why. Tonight just seemed like a good night to be out. Maybe she would drain some energy even. Couldn’t hurt, right?
Lesath walked in an area that she wasn’t all that familiar with, though still, it didn’t seem to matter at all. She was actually enjoying herself tonight, it just seemed like it was going to be a good night. Even if there wasn’t many people out…maybe that just meant…her energy pickings would be quality over quantity. Walking slowly, she paused, seeing a very pretty girl. Huh.
Hadn’t Jett told her about having the ability to bring people into the court? She would be a good friend. She would make the court look better than they were…and right now they really needed the PR.
Lesath sighed, walking over to the girl. “Hey there. I have a proposition for you. Would you like to hear me out?” This was never her forte. She wasn’t ever one to really…be active and happy about everything.
Though…maybe now it would change. Maybe.

Nisha walked along the street, thumbs fluttering over a touch-screen as she wrote a text message. The poetry event at the coffee shop she liked had run late, causing her sorry a** to miss the last bus. If she really needed to, she could walk home, but it would take like an hour or so and the route went through one part of town she was not sure she wanted to go through alone at night. So, the purple-haired girl decided to call in a favor from a friend who owed her.
As she slid her smartphone closed and then into her back pocket, like the beginning of a horror movie, someone spoke to Nisha from a neighboring alleyway.
The girl could not help but laugh, gold bangles around her wrist jingling as she flipped her braid over her shoulder. "Proposition? Hon, I'm not for sale," she replied immediately. At least it was some girl in a weird costume, and not some creepy guy.
... Actually, it was a really weird costume. Like ones Nisha had seen on the news. She stopped, turning to face the stranger as she reached for the phone in her back pocket. She was pretty sure the majority of the costume terrorists had white costumes, not black ones, but it seemed an irrelevant distinction.
"What do you want?" Whatever this girl said was just more that Nisha could pass on to the cops when she called them.

“I’m not asking if you’re for sale. What do you think I am? Some sort of slave trader?” Lesath raised a brow, then laughed. “No, no. I just. Wanted to know if you wanted to be…oh I don’t know. More than you are now, perhaps. Have you ever um. Wanted something more? Wanted the ability to change your future? Change your fate? Make yourself into a legend? Make yourself into…something wonderful?”
Okay, so she was starting to just pull stuff from her a**, but man did it sound good. Is this how you got people to want to join up? Should she offer free ice cream too?
“My name’s Lesath, and I want to see if you would be interested in trying to join up with us. It’s a lot of fun, I promise. And you’ll be with a group that is closer than family.” Jeeze. Now it was sounding like the Girl Scouts or something…she needed lessons on this. Maybe that would help out some. Right now she just had to hope the girl had some interest.

"Change my future? A legend?" Nisha repeated with increasing incredulity, one hand on her hip. "What makes you think I can't do that myself, huh?"
Somewhere deep inside, though, she really was curious about all this. Rumors of magical powers, plus the property destruction to corroborate the myths? If it was true, and Nisha could get her hands on that kind of ability ... Well, she really had no idea what she would do with it. It had never quite occurred to her. But it would be something awesome, for sure.
But in case it was bullshit, the purple-haired girl was not about to agree to anything just yet. For now, she would keep this awkward little recruiter talking.
"Okay, if I join you, do you provide the tiara with the goofy feathers, or do I have to buy my own?" Nisha scanned the other girl up and down. Sweet shoes, at least. She had to appreciate the originality of the style.

Lesath chanced a smile. Was she actually getting through to the girl? Was she actually doing the right kind of sweet talking? Well. That was a good surprise. “I mean. Sure, you can try to do it yourself, but I think it’ll take a hell of a lot longer, and there will be much less people supporting you as you try, that’s for sure.”
She reached up touching her moth feelers with a kind of pride. “Nobody that I’ve seen has things like this on their tiaras…this is all me…because I’m the senshi of moths…so um. I suppose these are my feelers. I don’t know. I think they’re adorable. And I tell you, as I’ve gained in strength…they’ve grown more fluffier, so that’s kind of fun. I guess. But, it’ll all be provided for you once I unlock your potential.”
Provided this girl even had potential…oh well. If she didn’t, Lesath could just leave her in mirrorspace with all of the other civilians…it was a win-win situation regardless of the outcome.

Nisha laughed once. "Story of being a girl, though, right? We have to watch out for our own anyway."
The talk of unlocking of potential did sound super hokey, though. "So you make this sound really easy, like you're going to flip some magic switch for me or some s**t and then I'm going to be all awesome. What's the point if I don't work for it, though?" The girl gestured to her own lack of a smile at the present situation. "Like, seriously here on my end, I'm basically waiting for you to pull out some new protein shake or bullshit diet pill or something. Your talk sounds all cool and all, but vague and I have no idea what you're going for."
She started to walk around the other girl, studying her as though she would find the secret written on her somewhere. "So tell me, what are you selling? You made your pitch, got me interested, now you have to deliver.
"And if this does turn out to be a bullshit diet pill, I'm going to be really pissed. Just FYI."

Lesath just chuckled. “No pills, no awful diet smoothies either. Just…come with me…and no, it’s not all easy. To get to as strong as I am you will have to work, and it will be pretty hard work. Fights, temptations, everything you could imagine can and will get in your way…you just have to be willing and able to face it all. So. Take my hand. Let me show you the real you. The you that you were always meant to be.”
The senshi held out a hand, grinning slightly. There was a mirror only a few feet from them, covered in bushes. This was going to be fantastic, and honestly, she was really excited for it to all happen. Part of her even really was hoping that the girl was a senshi so all of her sweet talking wasn’t just for show. Though, part of her was really just pleased she was getting so good at the sweet talking.

"Oh, trust me, this girl's ready to work," Nisha affirmed with confidence. "And you don't know what all s**t I've been through already. I think I'm prepared." Sports injuries, the cutthroat social life of being a girl in middle school, going to college to avert marriage for a few more years. She could think of other things, but she considered herself well-prepared for anything the world could throw at her.
And she was more inclined to trust a fellow female, for starters.
Giving the blonde girl one last cautioning look to warn that she had better not be disappointed, Nisha dropped her phone into her purse, zipped the bag shut, and reached out to take Lesath's hand.

Lesath gave a little grin and gave the hand a little squeeze. “Right this way then. Tell me, have you ever been in a mirror before?” She had began walking towards the nearest hidden mirror and continued holding Nisha’s hand. “It’s a strange feeling, but with time, I know you’ll grow to like it as much as I have.”
When she reached the mirror she gave another grin, pushing the bush out of the way. It was lucky that the mirror hadn’t been to terribly far from where they were talking in the first place. “And you’re sure that you’re ready for this? There’s no turning back once we go in. But, there’s nothing to worry about. I know things will be just perfect.”
She looked back at the girl then took a step into the mirror, gripping the hand even more tightly. She wasn’t going to let her go. Not when she had her so close. All of this was just so close.

"'Been in a mirror'?" Nisha repeated with a quirked brow and a laugh. "What are you ta--" She stopped as the other girl unveiled the mirror.
"The ******** are you talking about?" the girl demanded, trying to tug her hand out of Lesath's grasp. "What is this?"

Lesath raised a brow, then gave a smile. “This, my new friend.” She tugged the wrist a bit and placed her foot in the mirror. “This is your new destiny. You said that you wanted it, did you not?” She grinned now, pulling Nisha hard into the mirror as Lesath fully went inside.
Mirrorspace was always as it always was. Not really very homey, but hey. You had to work with what you were given.
Lesath glanced over to the large dark mirror that now stood in the main room where most of the draining happened. She hadn’t really been given a chance to see it, nor had she really wanted to, but what was the harm in seeing it now, well. Other than the fact that it seemed to be acting up a little, emitting a low sort of hum from the moment she had brought Nisha into the room.
A slow, mostly happy smile began forming on the senshi’s face and she laughed. “Well. It looks like this really is your lucky day.” The blonde looked at the other girl. “You just might have the right stuff for this job after all.” She gave her a little push towards the dark mirror, hoping that it would do what Remarque had talked about…and that it would really make her into one of them.
Because hey, wouldn’t that be all that and a piece of cake?

"How are you doing that?" the purple-haired girl demanded as she watched her forced guide's foot go into the mirror. She continued to struggle, shying away from the reflective surface, until Lesath pulled her foot onto it. ... Into it. "What is this? What are you doing?"
The air on the other side felt different, even through the fabric of her jeans. And when it reached the bare skin of her face and hands, too. Not in a way that Nisha could put a name to, though. But then, after a few moments, it started to feel 'normal' again, like how the water in a swimming pool felt cool when she first walked in, but then she grew used to it.
Once she was full through the mirror, Nisha stopped fighting, still frightened, but curiosity beginnign to take over. Her free hand reached behind her, and, to her surprise, came in contact with a solid surface - the mirror she had just stepped through.
Braid whipping slightly at the movement, she looked back over her shoulder, then to Lesath again, and to the mirror the other girl was studying. "What is this place? Where are we? What are you going to do to me?" And then, in place of an answer, the girl in the black dress pushed her through the large grey mirror.
The person who came through on the other side was Nisha, and also was not Nisha. She was on her hands and knees on the blurry grey shifting floor, staring down at a bracelet around one wrist, and a bracer on the other. Fabric, cool like clothes just put on and not yet warmed with her body heat, draped from her shoulders and her lower back.
After taking a minute to get her bearings, she sat back on her heels - tall boots now, and black, unlike the grey suede ankle boots that had first stepped into this alien place - and put a hand to the eye marking at her forhead. Then she looked up at Lesath again from where she sat and asked, "What did you just do?"
