Mt. Ferros Intermediate Rank, Levels 1 - 20 Home to Rock, Ground, and Fire Types Forming a border around the west and south sides of Armonia is a long mountain range known as Mt. Ferros. In truth, Mt. Ferros is a dormant volcano, known for its fertile red soil. It's also a primary source of ore for Armonia. Although it's been many years since the last eruption, that doesn't mean the inside of the volcano is any less dangerous -- Mt. Ferros is full of long, intricate caverns, with a temperature so hot that only Fire, Rock, and Ground Pokemon can navigate it without help. Other Pokemon must obtain aVial of Waterto withstand the heat for more than a few minutes. In an effort to encourage treasure hunters to bring in items for the Gracidea Trading Association, Kasimira has a special promotion going on at her shop, offering Vials of Water for free.

Buck was ready! He was going on his first dungeon and he was doing it for his guild as a special quest! He was going to make sure he got what he needed, and gained lots of experience doing it! Showing pokemon what for was what he liked doing best, especially if they deserved it.
These rude dudes were going down.
Stomping into the entrance of the mountain, he looked around for a fight.

What he found, however, was berry good for healing burns. "Well, I might be needing this!" He chuckled to himself, deciding to take it with him.
Kelly wasn't sure why he'd agreed to go on this quest with such a big, intimidating Pokemon, but he was trying his best not to seem scared. The mountain itself was intimidating as well as he entered, coming to a stop and inhaling the hot air as he glanced around the room.

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for Kelly?) the room he entered happened to be empty. Time to move on.
buck jumped over to the smaller pokemon, laughing as he nudged him with one leg. "Come on, then!" he bellowed eagerly, "no point hanging around in empty rooms, fight? Let's find someone to fight!"
He moved into the closest area he could find, waiting for Kelly to join him as he took a moment to scan the area.
Come out pokemon. even if it wasn't a slugma, he was ready for a battle.

It was a Numel! He spotted one charging his way, and braced himself for impact. It was his first fight, and he was a little nervous, but he was also very excited. Probably more excited than nervous, in fact.

The Numel was too strong for him, and the hit sent him onto his butt. Laughing, he watched the Numel make a quick escape.
"I'll get you next time!" He jeered, getting back to his hooves.
Kelly felt kind of bad for the poor tauros, though Buck himself didn't seem all to upset about getting knocked on his rear. He headed onwards to the next room, wondering if this would be the lucky one for their quest.

Kelly's eyes widened as perhaps the biggest charizard he'd ever seen flew out of nowhere, headed straight towards him. Knowing it was too late to get away, he leaped towards the dragon with his claws stretched out and...

Scratching the charizard right on it's tender nose, the fire Pokemon roared in pain and dramatically fell to the ground, before making a quick escape.
"holy me that was amazing!" The cow proclaimed, watching as the Charizard fled from the tiny Zorua, "ahahaha, you better run! Can't handle proper rescuers, now can you?!"
He grinned at his partner, impressed he had managed to find the one weak spot on that big guy.
"Let's keep going!"

He managed to find a vial of water, which would be helpful if he wanted to come back to the dungeon again! Which he did, of course.

A vial of water was a pretty good find, especially here. It was always good to have extras around. What if they got stuck in here or something for too long? Either way, Kelly led the way to the next room, feeling a little unusually confident after that charizard.
