In the night there had been other creatures, equally alone for the lack of gravity they had on each other. It was not lonely though, rather it was freedom, to wander from place to place pulled not by gravity, but released by a lack of it. Last Night had never been tied from one place or one kin. While others may find themselves inexplicably drawn to others, she always chose her points of gravity as surely as other kin might choose their next words. She was comfortable and content with her place in life, living open to all while being wholly unto herself. Now though, a creature had chosen to tie itself to her. She still walked with nothing holding her back, but now she was followed, a dark, swift shadow matching her hoof steps. They were doe and caiman, one filled with subtle strength expressed in persistence, the other representing overt power with snapping jaws and an unforgiving tail.

Together they lived unrepentantly, without guilt and without duty. It was in this way that they found themselves in new places, pulling through thick undergrowth and through veils of hanging growth, ethereal in the moon light. Gentle fronds got caught in her antlers and wet strands of vegetation tangled in his scales, but they moved on, sometimes shaking free and other times gliding with the grace and appearance of something risen from the Swamp itself. They do not set out hoping to meet other creatures, but if they did, they would be pleased at the encounter, but neither sad nor happy at parting as they freed themselves once again.

Ahhh! Thank you so much for agreeing to rp with me! ♥♥♥ I'm so excited about them meeting! I figure that at this point, Last Night has never heard of an owl, but when they meet, she could become fascinated by them and inquire about obtaining or discussing why she would want an owl.
