Her heart was racing.

A Chaos signature, very likely a youma, was nearly on top of someone much lower than it. Ever since her dealings with Bischofite, Kallichore wanted never to lose someone again, be they Order or civilian. She raced as fast as she could to the source, bypassing whole streets in her leaps across the rooftops. Taking the most direct route she could, the eternal senshi happened upon the battle taking place in the middle of a convenience store back parking lot.

The youma was a huge beast of a creature, wolf-like with eight bright red eyes. It was the size of a small family car and its growl was metallic, demonic. The senshi to be its meal was someone in blue and white, one she did not recognize. He did not appear injured yet but experience told her things could change in the blink of an eye. Dropping down from the roof of the convenience store, Kallichore placed herself between the youma and the young man.

Looking over her shoulder, she tried to asses the situation. "Are you alright? Do you need help?" she asked, glancing back at the youma that was now tracing a semi-circle around them like a famished buzzard.

Kallichore was relieved to know she wasn't interrupting someone who thought they had the battle in their favor. More than once had she dropped into a battle, thinking she was assisting to find out the senshi in question had everything handled and wanted the youma as a trophy of sorts. As if this war were a game or a race.

The eternal nodded, spying two metal folding chairs where employees of the store would take breaks and smoke a cigarette. "Never underestimate the power of distraction. When I fire off my attack, grab one of those chairs. We'll need some extra firepower for this thing. Do you think you can do that?"

A shriek broke their conversation as the eight-eyed wolf charged, black hair shining against the light of the moon. It had spines, very thin and delicate, masquerading as fur. Kallichore braced herself for the charge. "Glorious Crimson Mania!" came a cry, distortion welling up in Kallichore's hands before she threw it like a baseball towards the youma. Upon impact, it skidded to a halt, eight eyes wide and swirling. The youma started to cry and chew at itself, the sensation of alien creatures crawling beneath its skin too much to ignore.

"Twenty-nine... twenty eight... Have you gotten that chair yet?!"

Oh boy, he was new, wasn't he?

Dashing back behind the young man, Kallichore grabbed the other chair available and returned to his side. Folding into its full and upright position, the eternal senshi brandished the chair like the weapon she intended it to be. "We're not throwing them, we're bashing this thing to death with them. It'll chew a nice hole in itself after the thirty seconds are up. It'll keep itself distracted long enough for us to get some good blows in."

If she had to do it herself, well, people were counting on them to rid the night of this horrible monster. Kallichore took a few good steps up to the youma, counting down further. Fifteen... fourteen... She lifted the chair, readied a swing and...

CLANG!

Smashed it right across the face. The youma skidded across the uneven pavement, scraping blackened flesh off charred bone and leaving tar trails of blood behind it. The monster couldn't see much in its addled state, seeming to go blind by Kallichore's power. There was no hope of retaliation. The eternal followed the wolf-thing to finish it off. Lifting the chair again, she took several more swings at it.

The youma let out a horrifying death rattle before succumbing to its injuries, writhing in a mass of decaying flesh until it had disintegrated into nothingness. All that was left of the monster was a stain on the pavement that may or may not disappear over time. Kallichore never really thought about what youma were made of save for Chaos, darkness and tar.

With a satisfied nod, Kallichore declared the two of them victorious. "And that is how you kill youma without having a direct-damage attack. You use whatever is available as leverage."

The boy seemed bothered by the experience and the eternal attempted to assuage his fears though her disheveled appearance combined with her obvious lack of social skills made things difficult on her end. "I'm Eternal Sailor Kallichore. I don't believe we've met before, but good job. Sorry if... if I was too harsh, yelling at you like that. Sometimes you just have to act and think later, when people are in danger. So... my apologies."

Maybe that was good? Maybe...?

Kallichore frowned. Did she scare him? She certainly didn't mean to, not this time, though she had a reputation for being cold and unyielding.

"It's alright. You made it out without any scratches. I'd say that's a success, wouldn't you?" The eternal smoothed out some of her wild hair. "There's one less monster roaming the streets and these people don't have to plan funerals. Even if it's messy, a win is a win." That was her attempt at consoling him, if such a thing were possible.

Despite the fact that he was first rank, Chaldene, as he called himself, may or may not have been new to the war. Serpentarius, her own cousin, was first rank for quite a while so assumptions could get her into trouble. "Chaldene, how long ago did you awaken? If you don't mind me asking." Hands on her hips, Kallichore saw the people in the convenience store were starting to disperse, the signal for the senshi to move on as well. She started to walk, nodding for Chaldene to follow if he so chose. "And do you remember the name of the cat who brought you into all of this?"

She sincerely hoped his awakening was more informative than her own.
