Mt. Ferros Intermediate Rank, Levels 1 - 20 Home to Rock, Ground, and Fire Types Forming a border around the west and south sides of Armonia is a long mountain range known as Mt. Ferros. In truth, Mt. Ferros is a dormant volcano, known for its fertile red soil. It's also a primary source of ore for Armonia. Although it's been many years since the last eruption, that doesn't mean the inside of the volcano is any less dangerous -- Mt. Ferros is full of long, intricate caverns, with a temperature so hot that only Fire, Rock, and Ground Pokemon can navigate it without help. Other Pokemon must obtain aVial of Waterto withstand the heat for more than a few minutes. In an effort to encourage treasure hunters to bring in items for the Gracidea Trading Association, Kasimira has a special promotion going on at her shop, offering Vials of Water for free.

Bob was amused that so many adventurers were going to the new dungeon. It seemed like a highly attractive area, he had to admit. Particularly because he had a type advantage to most of the things in there.
Too bad fighting wasn't his thing.
He entered, a little unsure of himself.

Of course he immediately met a Geodude! Why wouldn't the guy who didn;t like to fight have to be in one?

Luckily, with his type advantage, he managed to send the other pokemon jumping away.
Vesper flew into the volcano, Vial of Water tucked securely into his bag. The heat immediately made it clear why such water was necessary, and he paused to adjust to the temperature and have a look around.

It seemed the local pokemon would not give him a moment to get his bearings, because a Geodude was already barreling his way. The Crobat reflexively screeched a Supersonic at the rock pokemon to try and ward it off.
The Supersonic quickly took hold, leaving the Geodude wobbling awkwardly to a halt. It teetered for a moment before rolling sharply into a wall and laying still.
Jubilee waddled into the volcano with a Vial of Water in hand. She wasn't here with Naka today, the charmander was busy running an errand and Jubilee didn't want to distract him.
Upon entering Jubilee immediately encountered a rather territorial quilava. The fire-type growled and stomped his feet and the fires on his back burned.
In response to this pokemon's angr action, Jubilee only offered a simple, helpful wave. "Hello there! How's your day?"

The quilava immediately thought that battling the togepi was a waste of time and wandered away without any complaints. Jubilee was slightly disheartened but she quickly cheered herself back up-- just another busy pokemon. There are plenty of others to meet in this volcano anyway!
Bob noticed a couple other pokemon nearby, and neither looked like locals of the dungeon. Too friendly to be, even if they had just been in battles. That was only more proof, as far as the big fish was concerned. He floated over to Vesper.
"I'm sorry! I did not mean for my attacker to head your way."

As he made his way over, he spotted a nice red rock sitting on the ground. Not wanting such a trinket to go to waste, he took it with him before continuing over to the other Pokemon explorers.

Vesper turned to see who was addressing him and saw it was an Alomola. Certainly not a resident of the mountain, then.
"Oh, it's no trouble," Vesper said. "It was quite easy to send him off again. I take it you're exploring here as well?"

Vesper soon spotted another Vial of Water. Perhaps someone had dropped it on their way in. It would not do to leave it there, so he picked it up and tucked it away. Perhaps he could find who'd dropped it later.
Jubilee heard some talking nearby. The togepi turned her head in the direction she heard the conversing and spotted a crobat and an alomola. Crobat and alomola? If she recalled correctly these two are not usually found in Mt. Ferros.
They must be other explorers! A huge smile split on Jubilee's face and she made her way towards the two.
