Hm. They almost look like they could fit into Okami... So I'd say a face styled like those in that game.

Thanks...I have no idea what face would look good on it so I needed to know that before I started adding detail razz

No problem. For something simple like that, it'd be best to keep it simple.

Ah, by detail I meant things like cuffs and a belt, etc. Things I could add in quite easily...maybe buttons if I see fit *nods* (I'm also thinking of maybe a cape and using it to remove the hands which I gave up on as I know how hard they are to draw normally -.-

Hm. Until you get better, it might be best to keep it simple. Buttons might be a good start to.

I've never been one to start simple with my art...I always throw myself in at the deepend...and I'm amazed that I produce anything even half-decent: Deviantart

Sometimes simple is hardest to do because of it's simplicity. However, since you aren't good with hands yet... do a hand study? You aren't a bad artist at any rate.

If I draw real hands on paper I'm generally good...but cartoon ones I'm not great with either way...but I swear I'll end up covering the hand with a cape or something...or maybe make them mittens...those are easy biggrin (think you can tell I'm better at graphics though razz )

Cartoon hands shouldn't be to different from normal hands in some ways, right? I don't know, I guess I'm not artist enough to really know. Cartoon / Anime / Manga hands (all very different), have very little detail making them a lot harder to draw and easier to mess up than real hands. In art, the hardest thing to draw is commonly agreed to be the hands even in real life drawing.
