Party Members Mt. FerrosIntermediate Rank, Levels 1 - 20Home to Rock, Ground, and Fire TypesForming a border around the west and south sides of Armonia is a long mountain range known as Mt. Ferros. In truth, Mt. Ferros is a dormant volcano, known for its fertile red soil. It's also a primary source of ore for Armonia. Although it's been many years since the last eruption, that doesn't mean the inside of the volcano is any less dangerous -- Mt. Ferros is full of long, intricate caverns, with a temperature so hot that only Fire, Rock, and Ground Pokemon can navigate it without help. Other Pokemon must obtain a Vial of Water to withstand the heat for more than a few minutes. In an effort to encourage treasure hunters to bring in items for the Gracidea Trading Association, Kasimira has a special promotion going on at her shop, offering Vials of Water for free.
For this dungeon, you will roll for 15 rooms using a 20-sided die.Dungeon Map:

Fizzle had heard the news of a new dungeon, and he knew there were vials of water being handed out so pokemon could go adventuring in them. But he was a fire type- he didn't need to have any water with him to manage in such a place! He was happy to head there on his own and see what was going on.
If there were any treasures or battle he could find within a new area.
When he entered, the first thing he found was a very smooth, toss-able rock. While probably not worth anything, it could prove useful in a battle if needed. So he took it with him.

The next room he entered didn't seem to have anything inside of it that would be useful to him, but he did enjoy the look of the rocky terrain.
To him, a fire type, it was a much nicer view than a bunch of trees and bushes. He didn't like the idea of getting in trouble for setting the place on fire! Here, though, he didn't have to worry about that.
Taking a deep, happy breath, he moved onto the next room.

It was another room without a whole lot to offer.
The walls were tall and menacing, or at least they would be to anyone else. For him, they were inviting and interesting, like a puzzle waiting to be solved. However, this puzzle didn't have a solution- the walls didn't hold any secrets openings or special trinkets.
Well, that was fine. He did manage to find another rock, which he took with him just in case.

The next room was more of the same, and he was wondering if there would be anything more than lots of lovely rocks to pick up. He was starting to look like a bit of a hoarder, picking them up and shuffling them away in his travel pack.
But they looked like they could be useful!

He was getting so used to nothing happening. Perhaps the rumors about the place had been exaggerated, and it really wasn't anything worth adventuring in. It was possible that it was just a cave, and they had only thought it would be amazing because it was new.
In reality, it was a bit of a let down.
Of course someone attacked while he was thinking that. His karma wasn't good enough for that kind of thing NOT to happen.

Fizzle barely had enough time to react. He just managed to scramble out of the way before a Numel jumped where he had been standing.
"I could have been squished!" he huffed, deciding this guy needed to be taught a lesson. So he sprang forward and gave him a scratch, which seemed to upset him enough to send him wailing off down the cavern and around a corner.
What a jerk.

Grumbling to himself, Fizzle continued on, too wrapped up in his own thoughts to notice he had run right into an unsuspecting zubat. The smaller pokemon flopped onto the ground, wings beating wildly as it tried to get back up into the air.
"Oh, sorry!" Yelped Fizzle, picking up the zubat and tossing him up into the air again.
"I didn't mean to hit you!"

The Zubat didn't believe him and promptly let out a hiss, flying away from him once he had been tossed back into the air again. He flapped and turned around to face Fizzle, who looked a little displeased.
"Um.... I really am sorry..." he said faintly.
Right before he got a supersonic to the face. Dizzy, he fumbled around for a moment, smacking into a wall and toppling over.

Still confused, Fizzle waddled out of that room and into another, flopping down on top of a sleeping slugma. He gasped and rolled away, trying to attack with a scratch attack.
He didn't really know what else to do- he was in a haze of confusion and he thought it was the same zubat as before.

He missed the slugma and hit the ground face-first, moaning in confusion and pain.
The non-confused slugma looked at him and raised a goopy eyebrow, before turning and leaving him there on the floor. He had no reason to fight the Charmander, and was happier trying to find some place else for a nap.
Fizzle still felt like he had lost that fight.

The same numel from earlier had spotted Fizzle staggering around, thinking it was the perfect time to try and get in another attack. He came charging into the room at full gallop, heading right for the nearly unconscious charmander on the floor.

Fizzle heard the numel before he saw him, pushing himself up off the floor at the last moment. He narrowly avoided getting tackled, the charmander using an ember to get some fire in the other's eyes. While it wouldn't do a lot of damage, it did manage to get him confused enough to run right into a wall.
He needed a moment to shake off the attack, which gave Fizzle just enough time to shake off the supersonic attack from earlier.
Ready to fight again, it was much easier to put the numel in his place.

After that battle, Fizzle found an empty room to recover some of his strength in, taking a moment to breathe deeply and clear any remaining cobwebs from his mind.
It was turning into quite an adventure after all! So much for it being more boring than they had suggested it would be. Actually, it was a heck of a lot more exciting than he ever would have imagined!
Just perfect for a fire dungeon!
