Okay so after her talk with lou, and then her talk with Danny, Amphi had realized that there was a lot of stuff going on.
It was hurting her mind to process it all.
So much so that she was going to talk to RIKKI about it.
Because Poor Rikki.
BUT A LOT OF STUFF.
But also poor Rikki.
She wondered if he got hugs and kisses too?

He hadn't seen Roch lately, and Danny couldn't remember him. That kind of left Rikki lost for people to talk to.
So lost, in fact, that his next course of action was to talk to Amphi. She was the next closest person to all of them, so she'd know what to do, right?
He hadn't slept much since everything had gone down, and he felt and looked like s**t. He didn't have much time to waste, so he worked up the balls and went to search out Amphi, except when he opened the door she was already there.

Amphi was just a bit startled that the door opened so suddenly.
So when she looked up at Rikki it was a lot like:

"Hi Rikki, I came to visit." Jack he didn't look good did he.

"Um, yeah, I see that," he said, scratching at his neck. He opened his door wider and stepped back to let her in. "I was actually just heading out to come find you... Why are you here?"

Amphi laced her hands, fidgetting a little. her face falling to a frown now as she thought of the reason as to why she had been there.
Oh right!
"I came to see if you were okay, first off and...." Amphi lowered her eyelashes, "I talked to Danny."

He closed the door behind him and leaned heavily against it. "Oh," he said heavily, hanging his head. Well, that saved him time. "I'm... not really okay, no. I'm freaking out, a little."
He looked up through his bangs, expression broken. "What did she say?"

"She told me she didn't remember dating you." Amphi reached over to tug on Rikki's hoodie. "She told me that she doesn't even remember you."
Her face fell a little.
"I'm so sorry, I don't know what happened in the Tear but....Danny...." She shook her head. "I told her the truth. And so I gave her thoughts to think about..."
"Do you want to talk about it Rikki?"

He scrubbed his hands through his hair hard and groaned. It wasn't like he didn't know that was what he would hear, but it just... sucked to hear it from someone else. Maybe he'd hoped it had all been one huge cruel joke or something. But now it just felt confirmed and real.
"I don't know what there is to talk about," he said, throwing his arms out. "She doesn't remember me, Amphi. Two years, just gone. She asked me if I was her cousin. I just... I don't know what to do."

"Well..." Amphi folded her hands together, looking at Rikki.
Her gaze was oddly enough serious.
"You just have to make her fall in love with you again Rikki. Two years of feelings don't go away." She sighed, "The mind won't remember but her body will remember."

Rikki snorted softly, unable to help it. "Yeah, well there's certainly something to remember there." He sighed.
"How am I supposed to make her just... fall in love with me again? She probably thinks I'm a total creep already." He rubbed at his throat. "I jacked up enough the first time around. What if I don't do this right, Amphi? She could actually say no."

Amphi frowned at Rikki, before going up at him and slapping his cheeks with both of her hands together...then squishing his cheeks together and making a pouty face at him.

"You will figure it out Rikki, You love her. Are you just going to give up? Two years..." She pulled her hands back and snapped her fingers, "Two years gone because Danny just needs to be convinced. If that's the case..."
Amphi made a face, "I'll just ask Danny to be my ghoulfriend instead."

Even fish-faced, Rikki managed to look distressed. But, as always, he was spurred into action by the threat of Amphi moving in on his girl. Rikki put steadying hands on her hips and looked her sternly in the eye. "Whoa. No. I'll try, okay? Of course I'm going to try. I'm just... I really worried. But I can do this, yeah?" He took a deep, if shaky, breath. "I've done it before, I can do it again."
He pulled her in for a hug, because he was thankful she was there for him and because he needed it. "Thank you," he said as he pulled back. "I'm meeting with her later, what should I do?"

"Whoa. Good." She mimicked his voice. Her face might've flushed a little cause he was touching her and it was different okay. Rikki you are not allowed too.
"Yes you can do this." She lost the urge to run and smiled at him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I believe you can do it all over again, and write a better love story than before okay?" She dropped down again.
"I didn't do anything yet. But we can." She looked him over before smiling. "What was your guy's first date?"

"That was really sappy," he frowned.
"I... don't know. I took her shopping for the lantern - the one she used the wear before the charms that help her? - but we weren't dating then. After we started dating? I don't know, probably the pizza place. A lot of dates on my couch?" He tried for a smug grin, but missed the mark.

"what was sappy?" She gave him a critical eye now. It does max critical damage. Don't you judge her romantic heart.
"Wow." She breathed in before laughing.
"No...No that is perfect Rikki." Amphi held her hand out, "This is Danny. She's not fancy. She's not that kind of ghoul. Those kind of fancy dates with the candle light and stuff?" She shook her head.
"Take her to the pizza place. Talk. Just talk about everything and everything. She'll ask questions I am sure, so answer them. And tell her its not her fault. And you gotta keep your cool Rikki, cause she'll say things that she doesn't mean to upset you with but they do."
She maybe even frowned for a second, "The best option is to do what you've always done with her. just a little new twist here and there you know? The reason she loved you was because you're you."

"Wait did that make sense? Like she doesn't love you cause you took her to fancy places, she loved you because you took her to the pizza place, and talked and did whatever you guys did on dates.....I also think you should take her to the Scarecade or something. Fun things like you guys use too!" Amphi clapped her hands.
"It sounds almost too romantic now that I think of it." Cue cheek in her hand and dreamy look.
