Personality: Maiko is a very friendly and sweet person, happy and full of life. She is the type to help out others in need and put their needs before her own. She can be shy when around large crowds though, a little overwhelmed with all the talking and being so short not helping either. She is quite easy to scare and startle though, accidentally freaking out even when there's no need to.
Bio: Maiko was a pretty normal girl growing up, the only child to her loving parents. She was about 7 when her mother had enrolled her in ballet and it wasn't long after that that Maiko knew she had a talent for ballet. She would get all the lead roles as prima donna in all of the ballet productions, eventually being noticed by a renown ballet coach at 11 and being trained by him. Then Maiko suddenly gotten a new ballet teacher at 13 years old, focused completely on training and it paid off as a year later she was offered the chance to be part of the American Ballet Theatre, performing overseas with the other girls and having a lot of fun while still being enrolled in school. She had started her first year of high school, balancing school and ballet when she got the inivitation to Hope's Peak Academy, thinking that this would be a great opportunity even though she knew that she would miss performing and hanging out with the other girls in the Theatre and her ballet teacher.
