Alamea had continued to wander long after she had gotten separated from others. She was still acting away from herself under the influence of the goblet she had drank from. She was walking calmly but with purpose - something here was calling her and she stopped just short of a nearby tree, looking up at it. Silver and glimmering in front of her its soft words spoke lightly.

She smiled with a soft and warm smile, bowing her head to the tree. "I will listen and assist." Warmth was glowing from the area and she moved onward towards a beautiful lake. A beautiful reflective surface drew her eye and she bent down, placing a hand into it. It rippled away from her and she cupped her hands into it, turning and moving back to the silver tree and placing it on it.

Coolness touched the silver bark and it shivered, dropping an acorn in front of her. With a small smile she picked it up. Carefully holding onto it she moved back. "I will care for you." She said, speaking lightly.

There came a time in her life when it happened. Alamea had been waiting, wishing and wondering what would happen when she was finally able to summon her inner self. Some had said she had bloomed late but she believed wholly that it would be worth the long wait.

And it had been.

Like fire erupting from her heart in a burst of fire she watched it spin and coil around her body and roar loudly. A dragon of large size and beauty roared loudly and looked back at her with a fire in its eyes. That first day she could never forget as its voice rang deep and shook her to the core.

Do not forget that I am only you. Were its first words to her and she hummed to remember them well. He was strong, fierce - a force she had never seen inside of herself but could see in front of her as clear as day. It wasn't just an animal - it was her. Everything she was he would be only in a new form. She felt his emotions, saw through his eyes and he did the same to her. Petting him gently there was a warmth between them. It was bright.

As she now had one of the zodiac she knew her life was probably going to get better but cared little for what role she'd be forced to play and cared far more for how it represented it. Wise, beautiful - she wasn't going to let it get to her head. Exhausted she pulled him along. "I want to show the world what we can do."

Once she had been a small bit of fluff under the watchful eye of her parents but had grown quickly into a beautiful foxfire. From youth she had battled her way to the top but found happiness in simple being - as is the fluff way. Avoiding traps was part of it and she had loved and lost all over again but she had to be the best fluff she could.

All of that had let to her being here, sulking around the breeding aisle. Her fur had become grayer and she was much older now and had yet to find true love. Until a Scareon seemed to look her way. Nearly broken, sad she felt herself pulled, drawn to his side. At first he played koi and then they became friends, quick lovers.

Had it all been for this? Alamea purred softly and felt content. To make babies, beautiful babies - that was always the point, wasn't it?

Fight. Kill. Die.

It was the way of the Arena and all she had known for many years and was sitting agitated in her cage. Her body was warped, changed by the matches. Scars ran down her face and her hair was in tatters. She felt the cage shudder and the door creaked lightly.

Gnashing her teeth she moved towards it, smashing her steel gloves against each other allowing the clang to sound off. "99. 99." Her voice was deep, garbled and gritty as she spoke and she gnashed her teeth again. Today she would face number 99 - a large man with metal poles for arms with sharp edges on each part. He was on his 99th too.

Alamea wasn't going to let him win. She had her gloves, she had her small size. Scarred perhaps but still able to move like the wind. The gate shuddered and she punched a nearby competitor, knocking his face in as she passed with a grunt. It was time to go, time to fight, time to kill... or time to die.

She walked in the line of first years and shuddered under her cloak as she watched the line move nearer and nearer to sorting. It rumbled across as she looked at the older years watching their every movement. "Serpentarius!" Oh she shuddered harder - that was not where she wanted to be. Those people were... were...

Jerks.

What would it say about her if she went there? That she was a jerk? Another few went by and she cringed every time they were sorted. Some were brave - more jerks, some were smart. Her heart beat faster until she found herself in the hot seat.

Sitting there she felt a stirring and she fidgeted under the tophat they were using to sort. It didn't speak it just fidgeted. "Hm." It said and she cringed underneath it.

It opened its mouth to speak and spat out -

Pegasi.

She smiled. It was far more better to be a little less intelligent than a jerk after all.

She logged on to find herself in a raid she could not win. Alamea bashed the keyboard as her hunter character cast healing spells after healing spells. "NONONONONO"! She shouted at the screen as she pressed on her macros. It was a Halloween hoard and she was missing it - all of that XP! She cursed as her character saw yet another defeat and died mercilessly after accidentally tripping onto a horseman camp.

Alamea bashed her head into her keyboard and banged it a few good times. "Ughhhhhh." She said, watching the countdown to respawn. This is Halloween was not a good game to play on her own but her party was all offline and her guild was... she didn't want to talk about that. Bitterly she paid the heavy toll for respawn and wandered back to the spot near a fountain.

Her hunter sat where it was and she angrily put an AFK message up and moved back, staring at yet another broken keyboard.

And here she thought video games would relax her.

The memories came her and eyes fluttered as she had placed the seed down, giving the memories to it and watching as a little sapling sprouted happily from her memories and bounced a little. She felt the warmth of a blessing move through her and she accepted it as she stroked the new bark of the small tree in a motherly fashion. Already it had grown.

It had gotten bigger and she watched with wide eyes as it grew in front of her. Months and months - years even - of hard work was coming together in the matter of moments and it was by her own doing? Pride was swelling within her. Not yet. The voice spoke and she followed its haunting melody.

Within the other pools she was drawn to warmth and took the water from it graciously. She carried it delicately to the sapling and placed the water upon it. It was warm, it was calming it was happy. And then her tree appeared to spring and she moved back as it spoke.

The lights made her happy to see and she grinned as she moved back from it, nodding in approval. "I am very happy to see that you are well." She spoke softly.

As the blessing filled her a memory of when she took care of a minipet came back to her and she smiled wide. Like the tree it had started so small and had come out of its shell to be one of her greatest friends.
