After the path of destruction, the thick heavy fog...to the land of creation and its overgrown bounding creativeness, Nevada had chosen to go the white light. Not the tunnel at the end of life, but the white soft light of the white world.
It's calm, warm. Soft. All the things she wanted after so much had happened. The air isn't heavy with memories but instead light. Crisp. Clean and free. Her breathing eases into relaxation as she walks. She can hear a soft humming, finding herself humming along even if she didn't know what the song was.
White light's dot her vision, forming a path for her to follow. The light mist curled and swirled around her feet with each step she took. And each step she took brought her to a forest. Tree's surrounding her with long silver branches. They are empty of leaves, but it doesn't make them any less gorgeous.
The walk continues until one tree surprises her with just its size alone. It calls to her. her hand lays gently on the trunk, feeling heat. No..Warmth. And a steady thump like a heartbeat. And it talks to her, in a soft feminine voice.
"Okay." Nevada whispered back. Anything to ease that lonileness of the branches. Anything for a tree that was tired of being empty.

Past the tree, and further down a path, Nevada followed white lights that danced around. The forest thins, fading in numbers of tree's until she see's a large gap in it. The gap spreads and widens and she see's why it has done so.
A large lake, calm and serene surrounded by the silver tree's meets her eyes. It's surface dances with thousands of little light orbs, making it seem like the water was nothing more than the night sky. It calls to her, so she goes. The soft humming she had been attracted to before grows stronger the closer she gets until she bends down at the edge of it, peering in.
Hesitating at first, The mist huntress held her breath before dunking her head in with a audible splash.Quote: "Heal my children," it chimes, "And when you do I will give you a gift of immeasurable value. That is my only wish and my only desire. Take these waters and carry them to my children. At first she doesn't want to leave the quiet voice, because it soothed her. But the request and the orbs pulled her out, her head shaking off the little droplets. With nothing but her hands, she cupped the water in them, keeping them tight before gently running back to the large tree, working hard not to let small driplots escape from her hand. When she finally reached the tree though, her hands spread, showering the large branches with small water beads. It shuddered, whispered a small thank you before dropping a small acorn in front of her.

With the acorn, and the light orbs guiding her back, Nevada headed back to the lake. This time full merging herself into the water to hear its request. Dark bubbles surfaced, thickening with memories she didn't remember but knew she was part of. They had her in them after all.
"Enie miney Moe." Nevada said, pulling one bubble towards her.Quote: She was asleep like usual. Her partner and twin was the one that covered the desk anyways. It was a shitty day for business anyways. Yankee's were playing, world series. It was raining too, so if you weren't a sports fan...you were inside staying dry. It's what put Detective Nevada Burns to sleep, the sound of rain. And the lack of watching the game in action. Too bad the shitty weather also messed up the shitty box they had invested in for when their work was slow. It wasn't until a loud crack of the door open and slamming shut that Nevada slurred from her seat, her first glance was sent at Alaska who was known to have random door slamming fits. When she saw her twin sitting still with a narrowed gaze turned to the door, Nevada moved her head over, barely peeking out with her good eye at the client that had graced them. Small petite little thing, Nevada's first thought was. Small, petite and scared. "Can we help you with something miss-" Alaska drew the word out, prompting for the girl to give her name. "Um...Gale. My name is Gale Storms." She shifted her eyes a little too much for Nevada's liking. Name was a crock. Girl had something to hide then. "You guys are....detectives right?" Miss Storms reached for one of the seats. "Will you take my case?" "Can't take something we haven't even-" Nevada sent a warning look to her partner, sending a silent command that coffee story first, don't be rude, they needed this client. "Would you like some Coffee or Tea, Ms. Gale Storms." Alaska pushed up, scraping the chair on the floor with a look of death. Bless Miss Storms though, for she didn't back down and answered simply, "Tea if you would please." Alaska grunted and got up to make it. Which left Nevada to prompt for the story, leaning over her desk. "Tell us more about this case Ms. Gale and I will figure out something from there." Her hands twitched again, looking from the door to Nevada to the chair. Anywhere but eyesight. Another common sign of a lie. Nevada would see. "My boyfriend has gone missing." Gale clearly stated. "The last time I saw him...I was at my piano recital. I was just finishing Chopin's piece, when I saw him there. I didn't expect him to be there so it was a shock." Her face almost looked scandalized before falling back into a nervous smile, "Not a bad surprise just...a surprise. He stayed around for the end, and as i took my bow, he left." She laced her fingers, twiddled her thumbs. "After that, I didn't see him again. He's been missing a week now." Nevada made a displeased sound, missing peoples. She hated these ones. "A wee?" Nevada rubbed her eye, "And did you go to the police?" The girl shook her head, mussing the bobby pins that kept her more wild flips of hair down. "I don't want to go to the police, Look I have money!" Ms Storms pulled over a bag, One Nevada hadn't seen her with originally but could've been to the lack of eyesight as well as the girl pulling it from the left of her vision. She stood from her seat, opening the bag and dumping its contents on to Nevada's desk. "I have 3000$ and 1000$ in jewelry and gold." She pointed at the small pieces littered with the bills. This was a lot of money for a little girl such as herself, and as if she read the skepticism in Nevada's eyes, started to speak louder. "I get a lot of money from my piano showings. My father is also well endowed with fiances, he's into stocks. This is important to me." her voice raising. "I just need to find him!" Nevada hesitated, waiting for Alaska to come in. She didn't have to wait long as her partner had been there the whole time, slowly making her way over to hand Ms. Storms her tea. Alaska's eyes flicked to the money on Nevada's desk, then to her twins eye before back to Ms. Storms. "We'll take it." Nevada said simply. "You...You will?" Gale breathed a sigh of relief before getting up again, taking the empty satchel. The tea placed on the corner of Nevada's desk untouched. "Thank you so much. Please...Phone this number if you find anything." The girl shot a nervous look to Alaska before heading out the door again. Once the door shut and a moment had passed, NEvada leaned back in her chair. "You always had a fondness for dames in trouble Nevada." Alaska reached down to pick up a stack of bills. "Even if their trouble is crock." Nevada closed her eye and grinned, "We'll have to see how much this trouble cost us won't we?"

Quote: The worst part of being a minipet had to be the black market. She had been on her way to minipet battle school when Amrita, the big stinky Patchwork lepus had jumped out of nowhere and cornered her. She wasn't really a fighter, and she might've held her own for a little but Amrita was older and stronger than her. It wasn't long before she was knocked out, then dragged to god knows where only to wake herself aboard a pirate ship. And Amrita was waving goodbye to her. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Nevada struggled with her bonds, trying to undo them. "Whoa whoa whoa little birdy!" Another lepus came over, a Pirate one. She didn't know him, she just wanted to go home. Why was she here. "Don't worry Amrita sold you to the better pirates, we aren't taking you to the black market." He whispered, untying her and waiting. She wouldn't admit that he was a very handsome pirate lepus. A small blush covered her pink cheeks. "I'm Nevada." Nevada held out a small paw. "I'm Dylon. Nice to meet you." He said with a friendly smile. Oh yes, Nevada was making emotion_kirakira at this lepus. Maybe perhaps he'd like to breed with her and make even cuter strong lepuses! Okay so maybe the worst thing about the black market was that they didn't have handsome lepuses like Dylon!

Quote: Swimming:Nevada tucked her long hair into the cap, stretching as she looked at the glistening pool. It always called her name, it was her friend. She was one with the water. It reached it's hand to her, it wanted her to swim with it. To be free. She only swam free. Her gaze meets that of her rival team, a small swimmer with blonde hair and green eyes. Heidi. They had been friends she remembered, the same middle school swim team but now. Heidi was always challenging her. She just wanted to swim. They lined up against the diving boards, swiping the goggles down on her head before grinning. "Let's see who swims the best Free Heidi." Nevada called out, mounting the board. Soon as the gunshot went off, she dove. She dove right into watery heaven. Where she was Free.

Quote: Arena:It was a cruel mistress, the arena. It would welcome her with open arms, adorned her in light battle armor and grace her with a weapon meant to kill. It would raise her hope, and just as quickly crush it. LEave her naked and befit of anything to defend herself but her hands. 98 hard long battles. her mistress was cruel yes....but she loved every inch of it. She loved the cheers, the applause. She liked to win. She always wanted to win. This time she is neglected by her mistress, dressed in nothing more than a simple battle suit, armed with nothing more than wooden knuckle dusters. They do more damage to herself than they do to the enemy but...It didn't matter because this was battle 99. This was when she would be freed from her mistress, to claim dominance over it. Nevada would be the one to dictate her fate after this, the one to return to her family. Maybe even to her twin, should Alaska be alive too. She waits in the middle of the field, a lazy gait that hides the lethal murderess inside her. She watches the door open. And her eyes widened. Her arena is a cruel mistress. "Alaska?" Her twin. And this time she had been neglected by it.

Quote: This world ran on magic, where life was dictated by the governing of spirits that inhabited the body. Nevada was no different from the others around her, except that her magical bond was stronger than most. "Leroy...." nevada held out her hand, a flicker of sparks, a fountain stream of light and fire before her hand is encircled with a large scaley body. It stretches and stretches until its head appears at her other hand, a forked tongue slithering out. "What are we doing today?" "Eatsssssssssssss" Leroy whispers a simple word but Nevada knows. She is one of the 12 wielders of the zodiac. the snake. The deceptive. The killer. Leroy wants to eat, so she must let him. Their role? To devour the evil ones, the weaker ones. Whatever got them stronger. "Let's go then." Nevada let the snake summon drift off her arm, slithering to the ground. They don't have to look far, weak spirits are always around. Weak people. The ones that give into temptation and their animals go weaker with it, the ones who turned to drugs, booze and alcohol, unspirit made items. They are prey. And Nevada and Leroy are the predators. "May the devil forgive you for your sins, humans." She whispered, closing her eyes, "Because the serpent will not."

Nevada came back to her acorn, surprised that it had drawn so much growth while she had been gone. it was touching. But it wasn't enough and so she had to return to the lake. This time though, it was different. Instead of a lake, it was a pool. It was multiple pools.
And there was a castle far into the distance, but it meant nothing to her when she had a tree to grow. The voice resonated with her one last time.
Her hands draw to the pool as soft memories fill her mind.
Cuddling with Stormy, Waking with Alaska. Kisses with Tuck, Flirting with Otto. messing with Jake, sleeping on training dummies. Sleeping all together.
And she didn't realize that during it all, her cupped hands had dumped the water onto her little sapling, its Branches spreading far, the trunk growing.
Leaves littered it like none of the other tree's, making her happy. The leaves rustle with a gentle voice; "Are you satisfied with what I have become?"
"Yes." Nevada whispered, standing back. "Yes I am."
