She had to admit, wrapping her staff against the wyrm felt somewhat satisfying. Maybe it was because it left her nostalgic of her earlier experience with melee weapons. Yet she still continued whacking the enemy rather than launching a real attack. It wasn't really a threat, so she saw no harm in toying with the wyrm. She knew it was getting angrier with every attack, But Kari was much too amused at how it spun circles to attack her to care. As the wyrm snapped at Kari, she decided that she needed to get serious. She was getting tired as well, and she didn't want to lose just because she hadn't taken the fight seriously. Pointing her staff at the enemy, she shot out a couple fireballs in hopes of finishing it off. Nope, it wasn't quite finished yet. As it managed to give Kari a smack of it's own, her irritation grew. Raising her staff, she sent a barrage at the creature to finish it off. As she stared at the smoldering heap she'd left behind, she nervously laughed, "Oops... I think I overdid it a bit..."
