Lizzy was helping the creature to untangle itself. By using her scythe to slice through its tangled up tail.
She was helping.

It did not seem to appreciate the help, however, and kept trying to attack her. Thankfully, she was able to block its bites using the shaft of her scythe.

However, Lizzy was so busy blocking that she did not attack, nor did she notice the creature's long tail sneaking up on her from behind.
