"Huh... this one's new," Kari mused, staring at the creature before her. It didn't look friendly, so there was only one thing to do. She raised her staff and launched her attack. OOC  Name of character: Kari Damage Done: 6 CURRENT HP OF BOSS: 34 Current HP: 85/90 Special ability: King's Regret: If you KO, instead of dissipating, you restore yourself to half your existing HP. You can only use this ONCE per encounter. Species Ability: If you miss with the attack dice, you can reroll again without penalty. Once you equip a weapon this is invalid. Current weapon equipped: Sorrow's Tear (90hp, 2d12-6, has the form of a wooden staff with a flame-esque knot at the end) TARGET:Boss

Damien did not wait to catch his breath, grabbing the few bits that dropped from the beast before waving to the lone fighter. "Take care of yourself out there, ok?" he cheered and ran off, in search of other people in assistance because he was the night..

The moment Kari had paused in her attack, another had jumped into the fray. They seemed to be doing a good job on their own, and left them to slay the enemy for themselves as a result. At the enemy's demise, Kari got up from where she'd been sitting and walk over. "Thanks, that was a nice break," she said with a stretch. As he turned and walked away with his prizes, she called out, "you make sure to take care as well." Pleasantry's done, Kari bent down and picked up her own rewards.
