Hearing someone call out to him, Jason turned towards the mist. "Huh?" He then yelped, seeing the broken remains of a sword, not to mention that one slitted eye staring at him, It was creepy as heck. As for thee question..he couldn't really answered that. Or he was to busy staring at the eye. It felt weird to be hitting a sword that was just..sorta standing there, stuck in the ground. But Jason didn't have many other options at this point. Kari was woken from her doze at the sound of clashing metal. Peering over, she saw that someone was fighting off another sword. Rolling up to her feet, she willed out her staff. It was an odd thing, really, she hadn't had this hunk of wood for more than half a day, yet she felt like it was her best friend. Giving it a brisk swing, the end lit up and sent a wave of fireballs at the enemy. She eyed the results with a nod. She could definitely work with this. OOC  Name of character: Kari Damage Done: 13 CURRENT HP OF BOSS: 20 Current HP: 85/90 Special ability: King's Regret: If you KO, instead of dissipating, you restore yourself to half your existing HP. You can only use this ONCE per encounter. Species Ability: If you miss with the attack dice, you can reroll again without penalty. Once you equip a weapon this is invalid. Current weapon equipped: Sorrow's Tear (90hp, 2d12-6, has the form of a wooden staff with a flame-esque knot at the end) TARGET:Boss

Jason had to do some major backpedaling as he scampered out of the way of the others attack. Though he was almost caught in it...he didn't care, since she had come to help him out. With some more twirling, she rained down more fireballs. This... was really fun! It felt so much more fulfilling than swinging a sword or stabbing a dagger. One, little two, little, three little fireballs and the enemy fell in a smoldering heap. "Don't worry... I'm not too sure myself what's going on with my weapon... but it feels familiar," Kari commented, staring at the wooden staff on her hands. The question at the front of her mind was how it could summon fire and not get lit up in the process. It was made of wood... right?
