Anthe was pulled into the darkness. She is surrounded by warmth. Beautiful warmth.... then someone slaps her. She jerks awake. She hears laughter. Wha~? She whips around and the figure laughs, commenting on her sleep. She realizes he is shadowy, and riding a mount. And after a minute she realized she is riding one too.
"Come on, it's not that far now. We'll be able to get this all sorted out soon." They nod forward, "See? It's already in sight."
Theres another one too? She realizes there is seven others, like the first. They seem familiar but she can't quite remember..... oh well. She turns to what she is riding to. A building built into the rock. Or was it against? She couldn't tell you for squat.
"Take COVER!" She looks just in time to see one of her companions fall by an arrow. She runs to take cover. The others must have done the same. She sees her companion in the road, disappearing. She decides to fight the creature.

Anthe pulled out her trusty daggers, always by her side. She was ready she charged at the beast slashing down on its left leg. It roared but she paid it no mind and dodge out of the way. She would do tho for her comrade who had fallen. Anthe once again danced around, skirting the monster with practiced ease. She had to win this. She took a slash at the soft flesh behind the knee, hoping to sever some tendons there. Score! While she was down there, she tried to do the same to the other kneecap. It didn't work as well. But it still worked a bit. Good. She needed it. Anthe had to duck and roll as a sword came out of nowhere and got her. Shoot! She managed to scrape the b*****d but still... Damn! The boss was getting weaker, she could tell. But so was she apparently. She felt a bit heavier than usual, but she pressed on. She lifted her daggers. She would do this. She lunged at him and landed a very hard blow. Thean decided she wanted this fight to be over. She ran and smashed the monster. She must have hit hard enough because it crumbled before her. Anthe realized there was spoils on the ground. Huh. She didn't expect this boss to drop any. Well more for her anyways. She ran over and picked up a red piece and a black piece. She pocketed them as her team walked up around her.

Anthe stepped into the building. There was a fountain and she decided to drink. She felt revived and re-energized once she drank her fill. SHe looks down a long hallway. It looks harmless however one of her companions throw a rock in. Traps go off like crazy and kill the rock to bits. Eesh. Well then. No other way. She begins in the hallway. She dodges the first one because she sees it coming. From the rock she knows the sword swings from one slit so she just times it right and jumps through.
She forgot the arrows though. So she got grazed by one before she could avoid the others. Damnit. She next sees the double axes swinging and quickly dodges through them with a simple timing thing. However a sword comes out of nowhere and stabs her in the side. Oof! That will definitely take its toll on her....
THe next trap is maces. She doesn't know how she is gonna get through this one..... She scoots to the side as one swings, ducks as the other swings over her and continues on for the four other maces. Whew she got through that. But oh look more arrows. She just ran through, hoping none would hit. No such luck. One grazed her again so more blood loss there. She got to the other side and started to bandage herself....

Anthe enters the next room she is bandaged and bleeding somewhat heavily from the stab in the side. She decides that it would be best to send one forward to disable the traps. She taks it out with her companions and they decide it is a wise choice. They choose the least injured, a young man named Fritz to go. He hops agilely through all of the tiles that line the floor. She had seen what had happened to the rock her companion had thrown when they had entered the room. She hoped it didn't happen to Fritz. he got to the other side miraculously unscathed. He disarmed the traps. Everyone cheered. He waved his arms, but just as he did that a pillar of fire shot out and burned him to a crisp. Anthe and the others all stood in shocked silence.
We all clamored to the other side, no time to mourn the loss because they were afraid for their lives.

Anthe enters the final room. She sees shelves with goblets and a fountain in the middle. She goes to grab a goblet and drink from the fountain but a javelin drops in front of her. You shall not pass it says. Well she was passing, one way or another. she held her ground and slashed out with her daggers.
