A challenge? Chel didn't know if she liked the sound of a challenge. Challenges were ... hard.
Ying, on the other hand, was determined to do whatever the goddess asked of her. That meant absolutely everything, including super hard gauntlets.

The knight didn't respond, he slashed with his sword in a crazy frenzy.

Now that was hilarious to look at. The little girl wielding a giant axe against a shadow beast. It was almost too funny.
"What are you crazy? These things don't-" She let out a sigh, realizing her company was one of those feely lovey types. What a pain.
Drawing her own sword, she turned to the knight. "Alright buddy- you wanna tango? Let's dance." Unlike Ying, she used the stumble opportunity to run in and plunge her sword in the knight's chest. He fell backwards, disappearing into the mist from whence he'd came. "See? He wasn't anything at all."

Chel and Ying both silently dug around in the remains. If there was one thing they could agree upon, it was that digging around in a dead guys stuff was sort of sad.

Ying looked to the hallway of traps, then at Chel. "Um M-Miss what do we-"
"I got it covered, horns," Chel said nonchalantly. She summoned one of the shadow people and made him walk in front of them. Sure he was inevitably dead by the end of the mission, but at least she didn't have to get her hands dirty.
Ying was absolutely horrified.

Chel once again summoned one of the shadow beings, attempting to use them for the tiles like she did with Evan.
Ying gasped. "N-No! I cannot! It is too mean!!"
Chel sighed. Without warning, she pushed the shadow in, setting off all the traps. "Sacrifices have ta be made shorty."
"I ... I won't go on like this!"
So Chel picked her up and off they went.

Chelsea nodded. "That's the ticket little chick," she complimented.
She wasn't about to be outdone by the jittery freak though. She was awesome in her own right and wanted to show off too.
