After going up against that damn Guardian--and traps, and pain, and near death experiences--a rest was clearly not in her cards! Agsil had hoped to take a breather, recover, then set back out on whatever grand adventure was lining itself up next.
No. No rests.
The chair she'd been about to park her a** in turned around and tried to bite it.
And that was when she slashed it with her fan, your honor.

She wasn't really sure what the throne was stuffed with. But it certainly seemed able to take a few punches. Though it didn't seem especially pleased that she was leaving ink stains on its fabric. That just pissed it off even further.
A chair that was meticulous about it's appearance. Huh. Who knew?
Not that she wasn't totally willing to rip the stained sections right off of it...

For a comfy looking chair, she had to admit. It packed a bite. What did they stuff these things with?
She tried not to let herself debate furniture anatomy and digestive systems while she continued to slash and hack away. It wouldn't do for her to second guess herself every time she used a piece of furniture after this. By no means should she care if her tapping her claws against a desk was hurting it.

Wings were great for flying. Flying was fantastic. Flying was freedom. What wings were not great for was soaring right over her target and missing by a mile. Or at least a quarter of. Either Agsil didn't know her own strength, or that chair was a heck of a lot faster than she ever would have given it credit for.
She wasn't sure what was the more entertaining option here.

At least her previous blunder served to lure the stupid chair riiiight on back to her. Agsil smirked as it waddled right into striking distance. And without much effort on her part! Stuffing and linen bits went flying to and fro before the chair could skuttle out of her reach once more.

Just like that, dragon and throne were back to exchanging blows. While she at least had no issue standing, she was happy to say the chair was missing a leg, and half of its back was ripped off. Bits of stuffing littered the battlefield, along with slivers of wood and various droplets of ink.

She'd swung too high, ended up hitting the already demolished back of the chair. While it was therapeutic to see the remaining chunks of linen, wood, and stuffing go flying through the air... being in perfect range for the chair's headbutt into her gut was not.

Well she'd give the chair credit were credit was due. In its dying moments it was quite determined to keep as far from her claws and fan as it was to keep ripping bits from her and bruising her up. Not that she'd ever admit the stupid thing was formidable, but she was almost sad that she couldn't just... keep it.
Who wouldn't want an attack chair? Ride it into battle in utmost style and comfort! It'd be amazing.

It'd given it's all after it took from her her one desire: a rest. A simple, tiny rest. Instead, the throne demanded blood, so Agsil ripped it to stylish pieces. As she carved her fan through the last few wriggling stumps of the furniture, she made a mental note to never let Aiden catch wind of this. The last thing she needed was for him to know a damn chair had given her issues. Never mind all these cuts and bruises...

Agsil wasn't entirely sure where the throne had been hiding its claws... but she was more than happy to take them after it's body vanished! Never not take loot.
