This creature was... odd, to say the least. Oh well, Kari wasn't picky, as long as she got something for her effort. With that in mind she set to slicing the throne up. OOC  Name of character: Kari Damage Done: 13 CURRENT HP OF BOSS: 27 Current HP: 85/90 Special ability: King's Regret: If you KO, instead of dissipating, you restore yourself to half your existing HP. You can only use this ONCE per encounter. Species Ability: If you miss with the attack dice, you can reroll again without penalty. Once you equip a weapon this is invalid. Kari was on a roll today! As she came in for another attack, she couldn't help but wonder if she was finally getting used to her weapon... Alamea walked into the battlefield with her weapon drawn. The young, short girl with rabbit ears had a fierce look on her face as she moved over, stabbing into the beast and moving back. She shot a look to the other girl with little more than a nod.
"I will assist you." There was a refinement about her that seemed downright unnatural. She went at it again with a small, satisfied and dignified smile and she felt the blow hit directly. There was an art to her attacks and she stood, staring back at it and looking at the other curiously. Alamea was attacking but nothing close to what she had watched the other do before she had gotten near.
She looked at her weapon curiously. "I need something stronger, like yours." She conceded and moved next to the girl. "I believe it demands another kill it, that doesn't belong to me." There was a thin lipped frown on her face but she motioned forward with a hand invitingly. Kari had been absorbed in her thoughts that she hadn't noticed another had stepped in to join the fight. She did notice when a comment about her weapon was directed at her. "Oh... yeah, It's pretty nice, but it's a bit difficult to wield sometimes, being so big and all," she replied, holding her long sword up with a sigh. "I guess that's the trade off for weapons like this... you want power, you lose speed." She watched for a moment. Kari had been tempted to join in, but the girl had been so determined that she decided to hand back and see what happens. Unfortunately, the glorified chair was too fast, and the girl gave up, taking a spot next to Kari. "Ah, sure..." she replied owlishly. She thought the girl had done pretty well all things considered. Advancing forward slowly, it wasn't long until she broke of into a run, her target clear. "Haaaaaaaa," Kari cried, swinging her sword downward. Apparently it'd been too much, resulting in a wide crater forming under her blow as bits of- she didn't want to know- flew everywhere. As the dust cleared, the throne was nowhere to be found. "Hehe... guess I don't know my own strength," Kari chuckled nervously, her embarrassment plain on her face. OOC Name of character: Kari Damage Done: 16 CURRENT HP OF BOSS: Very very dead. It's one of the reason's I haven't been using any -8 modifier weapons.

Hopping into the crater, she looked around. She frowned. Had she overdid it so much that their rewards were blown away as well? Her frown cleared at the site of familiar sparkling at the epicenter of the crater. "Hey, looks like we get a prize after all!" she called from inside, scooping up two items. "Come and get it!" She nodded approvingly at the other girl before stepping lightly into the crater. "I see you know how to take care of yourself well." She followed slowly, making sure not to ruffle herself too much before moving down and carefully picking up some claws. Dusting herself off she stood properly and nodded to the other.
"I'm glad to see others than can." It was the last thing she said before moving away with a soft wave.
