A sword? This was a new sort of enemy. Elium drew his weapon, narrowing his eyes at the living blade before lashing out at it with his own--

To his credit, Elium managed to turn that around when he struck the sword again, doing a slight bit more than basic damage this time. Another short swing, and he was able to cut a short distance into the blade itself, yielding a brief metallic screech that immediately made him wish he'd aimed for some other part of the thing. This thing certainly wasn't making this easy for him, all things considered. On a more positive note, Elium's response to the boss's attack went a good bit better than his last assault. While it wasn't yet the solid hit he'd been wanting, it had at least done enough damage to almost put the thing down, which was exactly what needed to be done.OOC Name of character: Elium. With one final attack aimed for the eye of the sword, Elium drove his blade home, just about falling over as the boss died beneath him. He quietly pulled a pair of White Tears from the shattered remains of the blade, pocketing them without much consideration. He just needed a few more of these things, and then he could--try to do something. Just what, he wasn't sure yet, but...he'd figure it out.x2!
