West was gone again leaving Sammy alone in the fog of the worlds. Trucking onward she counted what loot she had gathered so far when something gave a hiss from above. Apparently she had found a Wyrm nest.

Peyton didn't like the wyrms. She saw one diving, and she moved automatically to try to help the person firing up at it. The hatch flew out of her hand, whistling in the air, but missed it's mark before coming back to her. She cursed softly as it turned it's head her way and screamed, charging at her. Another figure entered the fray, the Wyrm smashed into the ground tail lashing out at Sammy forcing her back, but the creature was quick to turn on the new face.
"Hey stay down over there!" Peyton stayed down, hands over her head, then hopped up and took a swing at the thing with her blade as it started to move past her. "Thanks for that!" She didn't know this girl, there was nothing familiar about her, but she offered her a smile all the same for the helping hand. Sammy reloaded tossing another spent clip to the side before marching after the Wyrm as another figure showed up. Two guns and a hatchet all aimed at one Wyrm.
"You picked the wrong place to be buddy." Gun chick was strong.. Peyton gave an undignified yelp as she was hoisted upwards, but once she was on her feet again she was ready to go. Cannons made her pause, eyes wide and impressed, but only for a moment before she charged forward again. The wrym fell, and Peyton very happily scooped up a pair of the shiny baubles from the body. "Finally, I can myself something better then this hatchet." She tossed them in her hand, smiled, and gave an appreciative nod to the others, though Sammy received a full on grin.
