Thetis was trying to get back home but as a cat of his stature it wasn't an easy task. Everything was daunting and he was easily set off track by a few blocks without even trying. Commuting in the city was hard and everything was dirty! As a cat of luxury, he didn't like it on bit. He just didn't understand why people couldn't be a little cleaner about how their city looked. In his head, he envisioned an utopia of cleanliness and with one daydream he just knew it would save him a lot of time.
Unfortunately, this was one of those times where he ended up being set off track and with little barrings of the original direction he was headed in. He has suspicions but with no way to confirm he feared that he would end up going in the wrong direction. That fear was paralyzing but not as paralyzing as the loud noise that came from behind him as a door swung open and a container of kitchen scraps were thrown out.
How horrifying! Thetis made a meek cat noise and jumped back, his paws lifting up off the ground in haste as he realized this was hardly a sanitary place! Oh Mau, oh Mau, oh Mau! This was so unfair, so very unfair!

A little further off there was a racket as Pravoski probably just succeeded in scaring the bricks out of a person pilfering a garbage bin when he jumped out, a half-eaten burger in his mouth.
His little feet set him in the direction of Thetis, as seeing as Pravoski was more intent on making sure no body was chasing him, rather than who as in front of him...well. He was set on a collision course...

Thetis was too concerned with what was under and on his feet to notice what was coming right at him. With both of the guardian cats concerned about what was happening in the wrong directions, it was no surprise that they collided. Thetis let out of wail of a cry as he fell to the ground he had been so direly trying to avoid, falling under the larger burger cat.
Ketchup mixed with what Thetis could only assume was drool dipped down onto Thetis' properly groomed face, causing him to cry bloody murder.
"Get it off, get it off, get it off," he whined as he managed to get one paw up to wipe at his fur.

When the other cat began to yell, Pravoski - lanky legged and smelling of garbage and sewer, scrambled off.
"Woah, woah, woah, calm down lil guy!" Pravoski urged as he dropped his burger and held up a paw. "It's just a little ketchup-" and some drool, yes.
Then Pravoski really looked at the other cat.
"Woah, so you're a, uh, a uuuuh, a mauvian too. Cool!"
Cue lack of respect for personal space, as Pravoski began to inspect the other, sniffing and checking behind the ears, etc.

It was a relief as the other cat scrambled off him but he couldn't help but have something burn his nose. His nose moved slightly as he sniffed the air, regretting his choice immediately as his paw went to cover his nose. He didn't know it was this other guardian cat that smelled, and it was a good assumption given they were in the alley near some garbage.
"Oh?" He like tomatoes but he didn't like it in his fur. He needed a bath. A nice warm bath.
"But... it's in my fur..."
INVASION OF PERSONAL SPACE! NOT JUST THE TOMATOES BUT THIS CAT AS WELL.
Thetis whined, his body lowering down closer to the ground. He wasn't willing to get any closer to the ground than he already was out of fear of his fur getting even more dirty than it was.
"You're really close..." he said in a whimper, quickly changing it so he didn't offend anyone. "It's okay though..."
