This was the second one Rikki had run across, and he was convinced it would remain the weirdest. It just... freaked him out a little. So naturally, he raised his guns and shot at it. Welp, journeys and traveling and whatnot aside. There were still monster things everywhere. Which... why?

Okay. Staring aside at the psychotic thing eating it's own tail, he should PROBABLY do something about the fact it was about to come after him. So rather than ignoring it, he quickly batted it off with a swipe at it's head.

An apology? Well yea, one was owed for making something like THIS appear. But mostly from the thing that was moving and twisting so oddly. "It's... not your fault." His ears were fairly low as he watched the thing moving toward him. Oh. Oh hell no. Not again.
And with that he brought the staff back down on the things head with a resounding thud, and down it went.

And then, as he smacked it there was the effect of it fading and sparkling shards of blue falling. Well, ok then.
Silence for a moment before he glanced briefly at the other fellow. "Well... at least it's dead." And with that he plucked up the two blue shards and made his way elsewhere.
