Ruelash was a bit patched up and tattered from his previous fight, but he had calmed down a bit, which only meant he was as revved up as ever. His opponent was another Alkidike, so maybe she would put up a real fight. He grinned, drawing his dagger and settling into a crouch. Oh yeah. Bring it on.

Ruelash heard the horn blast that started his fight, but he held back, taking a few deep breaths. It had nothing to do with assessing or steeling himself or anything- he just couldn't bring himself to land the first hit on a woman. Instead, he braced himself, his muscles tensing like bowstrings.
Ruelash gets +3 on his next turn

Bhima at first burst forth, ready to slice the hell out of her new opponent, but he was just... standing there. Honestly, it made her a little nervous. This was no Pahana. She stumbled and took a turn instead, rather than trying to get the first attack in. She'd better look out for this dude!

Muscles tensed and at the ready, his every nerve hair-triggered, he didn't even realize when, in response to her charge and completely automatically, he stabbed out at her and slashed up. He didn't even realize he had done it until he was back in a knife-fighter's ready stance. He squinted, puzzled for a moment. Wait, had she hit him?
No! No she hadn't! Wait, what did he do now? Girls were always supposed to have the first hit! For a moment he felt sorta bad. But the moment passed.
Well, clearly, since the fight was now underway, he was going to continue as normal. Puzzlement over, he only smirked.

Rather than panic, Bhima attempted a retreating flip, but still felt the blade draw down her leg. s**t. Well, at least she was steeled and ready now. When she landed, blood streaming down her leg, and glared at the man.
She was ready now.

He liked that glare. He liked it a lot. It made him want to fight even more than before, as if that was even possible.
He darted it, stabbing before twisting around in close quarters, anticipating a response. Perhaps a smarter person would have kept their distance, away from the swords. Lash wasn't smart, but he also didn't care if she attacked him. Fights were only fun when everybody hurt.

Going with the movement of the fight, he jabbed out in rapid sucession with his dagger, not giving her any space at all.
This was the sort of fight he loved, up close, serious, personal, painful and- best of all- full of sharp objects.

Although Bhima has lost and will lose canonically, Drac and I have decided that Lash needs some beatin' and we will continue as a normal RP with no rolling or stats and such, ending in Bhima's, uh.
Unconsciousness.
Bhima roared, struck several times by the fury of blades, but she was not going to submit so easily. Rather than try and move, she struck out at him, and ruthlessly at his face. Blinding was not her intention, nor was she striking at his eyes, but very few people would continue through a strike to the face, herself included.

(So kan, if these posts influence our EXP gain, don't calculate yet razz ) Ruelash spun away, trying to dodge. Instead of missing, though, one of Bhima's blades managed to slice him from his nose, along his cheek, and all the way to his ear. It bled horribly- he could taste it as it dripped into his mouth and could feel it's liquid warmth running down his neck. He used the momentum of the spin to kick out with a foot, grunting as some of the wounds from the first fight protested. Sure, they had healed, but they were still tender and the phantom pain was still there.
That wasn't a problem for him, though. He was in the moment- this was exactly what he had wanted.

Well and prepared for a fight, Bhima caught his foot and threw Ruelash down before dropping into a battle stance. He'd get up and he'd want to do some serious damage. These knives almost seemed to hinder her. Perhaps she should have been an Earthling and buy herself a pair of gauntlets instead. Fist against bone was a wonderful feeling.
