Kohaku was walking home humming happily. She was holding a paper bag full of grocery's. She couldn't wait to get home and enjoy the smoked salmon she got. A little treat vs the canned fish she normally got because it was cheaper. Once at the door she set the bag down and dug threw her purse to find her key." I still have to read that book too... Major and Van were out on the front steps of the apartment building listening to music from a boombox Maj just so happen to find a a pawn shop. Tapes came with the thing so they decided to just sit on the cool concrete steps and watch the neighborhood. It was early in the spring but alot warmer than usual the boy's other room mates were at work and possibly wouldn't be back till later in the afternoon. Major had watched the girl pass if only for a moment before M.C Hammer came on and the two resumed their sitting dance. I'm glad you found this thing, half the stuff that's on this tape is better than what's on the radio these days brah Van said with his brother nodding I feel ya, but what do we do after this we are on the last mixtape? Major asked Van tilted his head in place of a shrug then started listing off things Major shook his head till Vancouver finished well then...you just want to just go race the rc cars i got they can go up stairs too Van suggested Major was reluctant but nodded as they hopped up to get the cars
Kohaku got the key finealy and went into her house with her bag. Making sure the door was locked before going to the kitchen and putting things away. Once done she stretched and changed into a cat. 'Nothing like a little cat nap before bothering with a boring book.' She purred and went to a window. Hopping up she frowned noticing she left it open again. Though quickly forgot about it feeling the warm sun on her fur. Laying down and stretching out she watched the birds outside with mild interest.

There weren't that many people in the apartment building, there were more vacant rooms than occupied but it wasn't the boys fault.Even though they hunted humans one of the most idiotic things you could do was kill the people you lived next to.the only thing that kept the place from being shut down was the fact that all four of the guys paid rent which was fine.Between the job income and the money they happen to "find" in their prey they weren't low on funds.Plus the owner just so happens to be a friend though it wasn't always the case. Major and Van raced their little cars all around the building, they followex them around till Van became distracted by a stray cat that happens to wander in. He calls him Chewy since it had a bit of it's ear missing and loves to chew on small crickets and other bugs it catches. Van decided to help the cat "get in some exercise" and had the car chase afrer it.At first it pawed at the toy before high tailing it down the hallway. Come on Chew you can do better than that mice run faster than that the boy taunted Major just made a face and watched him and the dark black and brown feline.
(( Thought I quoted O.O Im distracted by a cooking show XD that and I was trying to wash my cats fur with this 'no water needed' bath... she still hated it.))
Kohaku started to get annoyed by the birds. Her paws suddenly itching to catch one. Maybe not eat it but at least catch one. Leaping off the window she changed back into a human. She dug threw some drawers and found a cat collar. Walking to the house door she opened it slightly and changed back into a cat. With difficulty she got the collar on and dashed outside.'Now... which bird do I catch first....' she thought as she quietly walked across the grass staying as hidden from the birds as possible. Her ear twitched as she tried to decide between a robin or a morning dove.

Chewy had escaped to an empty room and hopped ontop of an windowsill.Van decided to leave it alon for now but left the car to watch it he'd have to come down at some point.bet you wouldn't do that to a stray dog Major commented as he headed upstairs to get ready to go to the gym Hell no a dog would chew that thing up in a second...then i'd have to murder the thing Van replied as he followed him upstairs for someone who is supposed to protect nature and animals you treat strays like nothing Major said with a grunt. it's not a tiger, its not a bush cat, not even a "special" one so why should i go out my way for some run of the mill kitty if it starts speaking for itself then we'll talk He replied before hearing hissing back on the first floor
((Hahaha.. my cat use to live with my mom and had lots of problems like hair balls, peed on people beds and blankets [she is an older gal but acts young at times] Comes to live with me.... None what so ever. Mom should have listened to me. XD I know how to care for meh sister! Also I was figuring a small house maybe apartment. Though right now... outside))
Kohaku slowly crept towards the birds while still deciding. The robin was thinner, a little smaller. Though the morning doves were annoying and loud in the morning. Now knowing her target she pounced pinning the bird down with her claws while the other flew off whit a squawk of alarm. A swift bite to the birds neck and she finished it. 'And that... is how to kill a mocking bird' She thought with a purr as she sat back and washed her paws. 'Now... what to do with it?'

(welp i wasn't so lucky my mother made her now ex boyfriend mad so he decided to take back the kitten he gave me. I'm not too entirely sure what he really did with it long story short he was a twisted man and had a crooked family to boot. Just when you think you know a guy...ok I was just going to have them be her neighbors so there would be more of a chance of them crossing paths i at least wanted them to meet before tomorrow the dreaded first day of school" dunno if it's for you too or you already started...that's the thing about the internet X3 ) Major made it to the apartment door only to see Van in the den like area dancing in front of the tv with nothing but a tshirt, boxers, and socks on the man frowned up looking back at Van also back at the staircase laughing at the cat now fighting the toy car. Bro seriously? don't you know other people still live here? One day spazzes are going to get us caught and i'm not going do diddley squat he said as he went to get his bag and a small towel. the original Van quickly came in after hearing Major and closed the door behind him he was just supposed to be washing the clothes-the clothes are done so yeah...what were you going to say...brah? the double cut in grumbling Van swatted at him and the clone disappeared well i'm going to teach classes at the gym try not to do anything too stupid while i'm gone i don't feel like house hunting any time soon Major instructed as he made his way out Van made a face and followed him out he really had nothing to do.Sighing he went down to try to find out where the stray and his rc car went.
((Im happy I got Bella before my mother and sister moved to south Carolina... my dad figures she might have died from stress if she went on the car ride with them. My dad hates cats but hes actually ok with this one because she means a lot to me. Heh, shes my sister because my real sister is a mega b!t*h... as for school, I did my time and now I have to go back... only in a rp... crying High school never ends...))
Kohaku poked the bird a few times and sighed. Picking it up she walked over to the garbage bin and growled. This was going to be more work then it should be. Or..... She dropped the bird and ran inside. With a paw she grabbed the collar and pulled it off changing back into a human. "Now this will be easy." She smiled and walked outside to pick up the bird. Tossing it in the garbage she looked at the street. She liked how it was normally quite. Though she still didn't think shape shifting outside would be good.

(awe that's good at least you have time with Bella car rides with pets are something. As my aunt was taking the bird to their son's dorm they forgot to cover the cage and it had a fit in the end it ripped out some feathers after it's wings got caught and it hurt it's leg they said it's staying at the dorm till my cousin graduates which is the same year i do too great i have to share the attention with him >ω> and true) The stray was still being chased by the car which seemed to have taken on a mind of it's own. As someone entered through the front of the building Chewy bolted out with the toy in tow It ran across cracked and uneven concrete but the thing followed with little trouble it wasn't until it squeezed in between a couple of covered garbage cans the chase stopped the cat hopped on one of the closed garbage cans and stared down at the toy car bumping up against the cans till it's battery eventually died Chewy looked at Kohaku for a moment as it was about to hop down and get revenge by clawing at the now vulnerable toy but Van came around the corner he had a human appearance for the most part. Black hair and brown eyes he could easily alter things like that if he had human dna in his system to work with "don't you dare you little turd" he said sharply to scare it off the cat just hopped on the dumpster next to the garbage cans and stood there ready to run off if he tried anything Van just walked up to get the car careful to keep an eye on Chewy who was a butt to anyone with or without being provoked.
((O.O Poor bird! I use to have birds... little parakeets OwO So cute and they pick up words like crazy...))
Kohaku looked over at the cat chased by the toy car and frowned. "Let me guess... some idiot five year old tormenting a pet..." she muttered and started to walk over to the cat until she heard a shout. It wasn't a five year old's car, which made her slightly more annoyed. "Aren't you a little to old to play with toy cars?" Kohaku asked with a blank expression. " Is it your cat? If it is you shouldn't torment it with the toy if you don't want it to attack it."

(those are cute lil things also the first bird they had was stepped on the second flew away third time was the charm.)
Van snorted as he looked at her "Well the label didn't say 12 to 20 and said 12 and up whether i'm to old for this thing is none of your concerns 20 questions." Van anwsered stopping at the ownership question Van didn't normally mess with animals like this but Chewy was a special case since he always looked like "who did it and what did they do it for?"he was nothing more than a smelly grumpy cat as far as he was concerned. "Don't you have better things to do other than judge my treatment of this stray? where I come from they ate strays. You know just snatched their furry butts off the street sometimes even pets...and small children." Van said neglecting to mention that those stray hunters were zombie like cross breeds it's not like she needed to know anyways, things were different here than from video games.

Kohaku just shrugged off the rather rude way he answered her first question though the answer to the second question ticked her off. Her eyes becoming slightly feline as she struggled to hold back a few comments. " So what if he is a stray? Treat others as you want to be treated. Karma sucks and it has a funny way of biting ya when you least want it to." She mumbled. " Though as for eating small children... good start. Probably should stick with the children. Bigger then cats. As for better things to do... not really."
