The guardian cat scoured the city, searching: for senshi, for agents of Chaos, for fellow guardian cats. She hadn't been too lucky in that regard. And with a name like Destiny City, this location was bound to be steeped in the magical. Was she wrong about her assumption? But she must not be deterred! There was a reason she came here. Magic never worked the way you wanted it to. Aradia was much too preoccupied with her thoughts to notice the man from the humane society with the net in front of her. Oh dear. Would someone save her from this cruel fate?!

Luckily for her, Pippin was just the cat to save her. He was always watching things like that. Well actually he had to watch out for himself because he was a theft and instead of the human society the pound was looking for him, ever since he stole over a 5 kart diamond for the jewelry store. It wasn't his fault it was just so shiny and he just couldn't stand not having it under his tiny little paws. Plus it also helped that he enjoyed watching people but when he notice another cat with a star on her face he let out a small smiled but it quickly turned into a frown when he saw the human society coming her way. She was so pretty too, he had never saw someone as pretty then her....well maybe something shiny or Vanadis but that was beside the point.
He quickly skitter over to the cat and pushed her out the way and just merely escaped the the net's grip. He was too good for his own need. "Hey! You got to be more careful out! Let get out of her first and then I'll show how to be more sneaky like me" he said waving to her to follow him quickly.

Well, that was.. certainly .... Aradia hadn't even noticed the man about to catch her with a net. That was, not until she was shoved by another guardian cat out of the way of certain doom. Her eyes widened as she stared at him, flabbergasted. It took one shout from the human to get her back to her senses. Without a word, she followed the other guardian cat to wherever he would lead her. Besides, she wouldn't let him get away. She had to QUESTION him. The question was, where was he taking her? And just how far did they have to travel to get from the man's grasp? She followed him, undaunted by this current setback. Eyes fully on his backside, as if he would disappear if she looked away.

He was quick in his movement, moving in and out of the alleyways to make sure that he would losse the man. He didn't have time to look back to see if the fellow muavian was following him but he had a feeling that she was. She had learn her lesson so he had no doubt in his mind that she wouldn't be behind him.
He moved swiftly jump from dumpster to dumpster until he got to where he was leading her. His alleyway which was far often and even harder to fine. It had all his shinnies that he could leave in the houses that he stay in from day to day. It was small enough just that animal could come in, which is why he made it his. He jumped on his pile and gave a long purred. Now, finally taking a look at the other cat with a smile. "I'm glad you didn't get caught. you go to be more carefully. It's dangerous out here if you're not careful. Maybe you should stick with me a bit more often. I'll teach you the ropes, if you like! I don''t mind. I'm A-One cat when it come to being sly." he said with a big smiled.
She was so pretty he didn't want to see her get hurt! Plus he was a crook of some sort as he was very good at stealing so he knew the ropes but he didn't want to mention that. He just had to bend the truth and then maybe she would give him a chance to teach her how to stay safe. Safety is what he strive for and he wasn't going to allow another muavian get hurt on his lookout.

Aradia regarded him with her head cocked to one side, watching as he took his perch upon a pile of shiny things. He certainly seemed street smart, that one thing was for certain. And without him, she would not be around to her work - that was another thing. "My apologies," she began. "I only have just arrived here a few weeks ago. I must say that you are the first Mauvian I have met, other than myself." The excitement began to rise in her voice. "Tell me, serrah, what is the name of the Mauvian who rescued me? And more importantly, what can you tell me about this city? Do you know much about it?" The birman paused. "Ah, and yes please. Please teach me these ropes you mention. Quite frankly I do not know my way around this place. Any assistance would be vital to my work. Very vital."

He smiled and moved off his pile, closer to her. "No need to say sorry! It's fine! Everyone has those days, even me!" he said, smiling.
He bounced over to her and smiled. "Really! You only arrive a few weeks ago! That's very neat. I've been here my whole life and awoken here too. It's a bit strange. I have memories of being a regular cat and then memories of being the cat I am today. Isn't that strange? I'm Pippin!" he said with a grin. "What is you name?" he said raising a eyebrow.
"Work?" he said looking to her, "What kind of work is that? I have work, to take care of my animals but that's it, but it's a big job! I'll tell you that! They keep me on my feet!"

"Ah, my name," she finally answered, blinking once as she let all of the information he gave her filter through her head. "My name is Aradia. And my work is to solve this Big Puzzle that all of us Mauvians, senshi and agents of Chaos face." The birman tilted her head once more. "I feel that it is very important to understand the reasons why we are all here, as well as the hows. So many blessed with these powers just exist without wondering our purposes." Aradia sighed as her eyes trailed over the little pile and up into the sky. So much work to be done, so little time! She looked back down at Pippin and smiled. "And so, Ser Pippin, please do tell me all that you know, starting from the very beginning if you please."
