She heard the same noise as Kaje did, saw the same.... That was not a spear. There was a creature attached to that. A very large, creepy creature. She didn't even hesitate when it came to drawing her new weapon and hacking at the thing's leg. "What is that?" He spun around at the voice, relieved it was Rhryse, but somewhat worried. What was she doing here? It was then he noticed her weapon. She had gotten a new one too?
Well, regardless, he wasn't going to let her show him up just because she got an upgrade, so he turned, swinging the axe, impaling into one of the spider's leg. OOC Name of character: Kaje

Yes. Yes she did get a shiny new weapon. It went well with the shiny new blue pendants she wore at her neck, too. (ok. Not so well, especially with a red heart. But we are not here to judge colors.) Please Rhryse, you're a fashion disaster.
Kaje was a little jealous of that sword ok. It could probably cleanly slice through that leg. Maybe he could use the leg as a weapon, it'd be a great spear for stabbing stuff. Maybe a particular clingy dog shadow.

Really, without her, he'd be spider food. And she was totally showing him up.

Kaje said something nice to her. Rhryse actually had to stop and blink for a moment. She liked that. Compliments made her feel warm. She turned, grinning at their returning friend. "Yep." The agreement was coupled with a sidelong glance at Kaje. Was he telling jokes now? His way of coping with the giant spider? She didn't know. Rhryse...ended up thinking too much. She actually stopped swinging at the creature. Rhryse hadn't been expecting a joke from Kaje. Maybe that was most of why she failed to attack. She'd never know. If she thought about it too long, the spider would eat them all. That would be sad. So she hacked away at it's leg again. Also, because Kaje had asked for help.
