None of them had ever spoken to her before!

Simmy's amounts of despair immediately decreased when she realized what was happening, that the voice wasn't coming from someone like her. She bent down and smiled wide, sighing happily.

"Hello!" she called, tone cheerful.

"Hello....hello....hello," said the Kitty.

"Hello," she repeated, more hesitant this time.

"Hello...hello," the kitty replied.

After repeating this process four more times, she was becoming visibly more alarmed, eventually moving to wield her spear towards it.

"Why are you doing this? Why won't you speak to me?" Panicked, she turned to see if someone else might be able to help her. "Why won't it speak to me?"

The giant man came juggernauting out from the fog, leapt up into the air, and brought his sword down right on the creatures head. He looked entirely too happy about it.

When he pulled the sword away with a disgusting squelch, he wiped it off on his pants, and stared at the other two. "Come on, ladies. Are we havin' a knittin' party? 'Cause I didn't bring my needles."

It was one of those cats again. She found them far more tolerable than the half-incorporeal looking thing that seemed to wreck her every time she fought it. She lazily fired a few shots at the cat, not particularly concerned by it, before it somehow harmed her. She didn't like that it could do that.

She also turned to one of the combattants, who was wielding a blade, and said: "I'd always thought that would be more my kind of weapon, but the pistols are doing fine-- how do you find it? Good control?"

That sparkle. Trebor could have bottled it and sold it wholesale. He reached over and nudged the cheek of that impressed girls face with his fingertips, before giving the other one a wink. "It's okay, ladies. We don't have to learn to knit. Just tear." The sword shanked the monster that ambled towards them, right in the face. The eye, even.

Without him looking at it.

(He was trying too hard.)

"I'm Trebor." He announced as he pulled the sword out of the kitty. "It's nice to meet me."

A third pretty face asked about his weapon, which was, of course, his favorite question. He turned to her, and held it up, gorey with remains. "It's decent. It does the job. I've never been a gun man myself - " Or had he? "I'd probably end up throwing them at it."

"Yes!" Simmy chimed, clapping her hands together. What a helpful friend she had found! "That was exactly the word I was looking for."

Her eyes found him again, and her tone shifted to something more coo-like. "Impressive."

All of her fawning almost caused her to miss the arrival of someone new. Almost. She offered an encouraging little wave and shuffled closer to the Impressive Swordsman, hoping that a closer proximity might mean he would touch her again.

"You're so right, it is nice to meet you!" Another helpful friend?! She couldn't believe how fortunate she was. "I'm Simmy...but anything you want to call me would be perfect!"

"After we win, we'll learn to knit! It's such a short word, so I suspect that it will be fairly simple." She held her head high, obviously pleased with her reasoning skills, and vaguely waved the spear in the Kitty's direction.

"Hello!" She waved too at the newcomer. "Nah i think he deserved the encouragement! I mean, he DID put a nice hole in the kitty..."

She watched in awe once more this time, as the new person put more nice holes in the monster. Wow!

"I am Scree! Spelled with two E's though im certain people like to add more to it...."

Not really wanting to wait much longer, she used the double blades and slashed at the monster putting it out of its misery.

"....So we can knit now, yes? We did the tearing, lets do the Knitting!" She beamed at everyone else.

"Knittin' Party?" Wyng asked. Shed had clearly missed out on some an/or all of the conversation. Confused, she scooped up the two items that had fallen near her and placed them in her pocket.
