As Ralifa wandered, the fog around her began to hiss and buzz. Something dangerous was nearby. Something a little bit stronger than what she had been fighting previously. She could barely make out what it was when a clawed hand came from the shadows. Jerking her spear upwards to protect herself from the surprise attack, she merely batted it away. Clunk. Clunk. Clunk. It shambled through the fog. Buzzing and hissing, it backhanded her. Sending her reeling back across the ground a few feet. "So strong..." How strong did these things get anyway? She jabbed it in the side with her spear, ducking another attack before pulling back. Wandering around hunting again, Wyng eventually came upon a monster attacking a familiar shadow. Brandishing her daggers, She lept into the fray, slashing as she went. Ah, a familiar squiggle once again. She was running into a lot of those today! That meant she was making a lot of new friends and meeting up with them again. That made her happy. "Hello friend!" She called before stabbing her spear at the monster once more. Missing and kind of dancing past it, avoiding it's attacks the best she could. Her focus returned to the monster. Charging in head on, she brought her spear level with her hips in an overhanded grip. Arms pulled back as she swung her weapon forward in an upwards, arching motion. Sticking it right in it's side. She twisted the spear a couple of times before ripping it back out. And a miss. The spear point looked like it might be driven home but the monster shifted slightly and her jab zipped right past it's head. This monster was very good at dodging. After managing to avoid a thrust from the other shadow's spear, it managed to step out of the way from a slash from one of Wyng's daggers... Chaesel ran into the fray past everyone, slamming her sword into the opponent. God it felt good. After a self meditation, she'd realized her true potential. If she wanted to fight, she could fight.
The sickening squish of the creature's flesh made her smile. It was a wonderful feeling, fighting. It unlocked an exhilaration deep within her core.

And then came the final blow. It was kind of satisfying actually. Ralifa didn't often get to end the monster's life. Usually others had done it. When the boss fell, it dropped two small items at her feet. Crouching, she picked them up and then placed them in her pocket with the others.
