Reheats woke up, startled. She quickly looked around her in a panic. She was surrounded by white walls and sitting on some sort of table. She quickly got off of it since it was rather hard and uncomfortable. "Deep breaths Reheats" she muttered to herself. "Deep breaths."
This wasn't that bad, she thought. This is just like in one of those movies. The main hero suddenly found themselves in a room with no memory of how they go there. They were forced to play a series of games to unlock the way out. She was going to do something like.
Probably.
Taking one last deep breath, Reheats opened her eyes and looked around one more time. She finally found what she was looking for.
An exit.
She smiled broadly. "This must be the exit", she thought. She strode through it, not even bothering turning back when she heard the door close behind her.

Reheats was in a hall way. A really bright, white one. She didn't really like it here. Everything was just too sterile, too clean, too perfect. Nothing could ever just be like this. They would eventually get dust on the floor, grime would build up, everything would get oxidized, etc. This just didn't seem natural at all and she didn't like it one bit.
Reheats wondered if her past self would have liked this place.
Probably not.
Probably.
Reaching the end of the hallway, she found a door. One of those sliding doors that open when you input a password. She thought about what it could be when she heard a noise behind her.
There couldn't possibly be any noise. The hallways were empty apart from her. So... what could...
She tried to ignore it, focusing on the task at hand. But she just couldn't. It was just too incessant, loud, annoying. Sighing she turned around.
What she saw wasn't anything like the monsters she beat up. No. For some reason, it terrified her. A lot. She flinched and stared at that, that thing. It was the only way she could have described it. It was a dark figure, carrying a pair of scissors.
Reheats screamed.

She turned around, looking at the 9 digit panel and raking her brain, trying to find any clue that could have been left for her so far.
However ignoring the presence behind her was not an easy task.
The thing behind her started talking in a distorted voice. "Maybe there's a clue in what he's saying?" Reheats thought. Without looking behind her, she focused on what the thing was saying.
"Oh, !@*&^, !@*&^, !@*&^... You disappoint me. Remember that time, when you were just a kid? Dear asU&29( was just trying to help you, and you had to do that to him. You know what I'm talking about right?"
Of course, Reheats had no idea what it was talking about. It seemed to be saying her real name too, but she couldn't make out the words. Did she do something wrong to another kid? Was she a bad person before? The figure seemed to be implying that, but she didn't exactly care. All she cared about, was getting away.
Away from the thing.

"Hey, !@#$%, come over here." a figure called out.
A younger version of Reheats went to the figure. "What is it?"
The taller man carried her onto his lap. "See that?" he said as he was pointing to the window. "You can become that too when you grow up."
"But I have to study hard, right?" the kid said with a giggle.
"Yup, thats right!"

"Was that a vision?" Reheats thought to herself. Was it caused by the thing behind her? Too many questions distracted her. The thing took this opportunity to move closer to her.

As panic grew inside Reheats, she finally noticed something to her left. It was a piece of paper. On it there was "A=0, B=1, C=2" written. Reheats didn't know what it meant and she was really disoriented for a moment.

The thing started talking more about what Reheats did in the past. She ignored it.

Reheats looked one last time to her left. A=0, B=1, C=2. It tormented her that she didn't know what they meant. She knew they were the key to opening this door, but she just couldn't figure it out.
And the thing just kept getting closer and closer.
Until it was just behind her...

There was a pain. An indescribable pain in her chest. The sick sound of the scissors cutting her open. She knew all too well what was happening to her.
The thing took her heart.
The thing took her heart.
Her heart.
She couldn't do anything about it. Nothing but stand there and feel the pain. The pain inside her chest.
It was over?
Indeed it was.
