Another day, another battle.
Rostym was starting to feel them blur together, personally. But that was okay. She wanted to be ready and perfect for the next task, which meant practice practice practice with her new weapon. She'd been getting oddly good with it before, but it seemed even a little rest was enough to make her a little less than confident against the enemy.
Her eyes narrowed with concentration.

Feeling grim for reasons she can't explain, Annabell was glad to find Rostym was ready for another battle. It meant they could get out their aggression, Annabell not the only one with some negativity floating within as evidenced by her friends face. "Cheer up, pumpkin!" Her voice. She could recognize who that was now, how it had that particular tone to it that no-one else did. Was that from the blessing?
Rostym turned and brightened some to see her friend--friend? friend-- return to her. "Pumpkin?" she asked curiously, tilting her head (why?). "What's that?"

Yes, blue was a pretty color . . . she knew, she had many of the blue things! But for today, she chose white because it was so starkly contrasting against her shadowy form!
