There were a few key differences, she was noticing. The length, for one. Pride had been something close to a short spear while Hope was a bit longer, slightly more awkward to weild. She was going to have to compensate... Or she was going to keep missing. That seemed to make a bit of a difference, though. With the new balance she was able to bash with the ball end before jabbing with the pointy end. That might just work...
