His advantage was wearing out. The beast seemed to have regained it's sense of direction and this time, he hit Lliote square across the chest and threw him into the altar. Now that it was no longer fazed, the beast jumped back and dodged Lliote's blow before it could do any serious damage. The beast was so large it easily swatted Lliote into the wall. He could see stars... but he had to get up. He could not fall here... Lliote forced himself to stand up. He stuck his sword down on the creature's tail in some vain attempt to try and keep it in one place. It didn't do him any good as the creature easily shook itself free and proceeded to claw at Lliote. It's injuries didn't slow the beast down one bit. It threw Lliote into the wall of the cavern again.
