Zihyu wandered onto the scene moved to attack. It just so happened the monster caught on and swatted her (and her spear) to the side.

Rue Gin also wandered onto the scene, though when she attempted to attack it did not go in her favor. She missed, and she got a blow to the back for her efforts as she moved to get out of range.
