Leia was uncertain for her reason for coming back to the Shrine. Some thing just seemed to have been calling to her, telling her that she needed know more. But was it something that she needed to find more? Something about herself?
Even before all of this happening, so many things had run through her mind so quickly recently. So many faces that she has seen, so many battles that she had been in. Seeing people hurt was not something she was all that interested in seeing, but for some reason, it seemed like a calling to do that. Like it was something that needed to be done to protect something.
But through all of this, things were slowly seeming to tell her things. Maybe things that related to her. It would be possible to think so, but even then, one would never know why those things seemed to be telling her. But something nagged at her. Something needed to happen, something to give her something to make sense.
And slowly, she opened the door that lead to the goddesses, and walked in, the doors seemingly closing behind her.

{Alice - Leia}
And when she had walked in, she had noticed that out of all the other pedestals, one of the goddesses was missing. Which one was it though? She thought as she began to get closer to the pedestal. She soon noticed that Paranoia.
And somewhere, someone had come out of no where. There was something glowing in the figures hands. Wires were connected to the figure emerging from a fog that came forth. It was making noises, like something like hissing and crackling and snapping, like they were breaking off possibly.
She thought something was going to happen to her, and she closed her eyes and turned her head. When nothing happened, she opened one of her eyes to see that the figure was handing her a bag with a key tied around it. Nothing special about it from the outside of the bag, and key on top of that.
"Go on," urges the Goddess, her smile crooked but hopeful, "open it up. I have a gift for you." Leia was hesitant to open the bag, even if it didn't seem to have anything special about it. I slowly pulled it open, thinking there was bound to be something coming out of the bag, but nothing did. She peered inside, and noticed there was nothing inside of it. "Um, Ma'am, Paranoia, Goddess," not sure what she should call her. "There seems to be nothing inside."
"Oh." the Goddess is suddenly clenching and unclenching one hand. "A small error. It's okay, I can fix this." Her gaze intensifies, "With your help, I can fix this. Could you fetch me more parts? I stored them in my special labs but it's getting a little cluttered down there. Just look for the chests, they should be inside. I don't need everything it holds, just the heart." They pause, before giving you a pair of scissors. "That should do the trick. Just the heart. They don't need theirs after all," their expression turns turns wry, gentled at the corners with remorse, "...they didn't quite make it."
Leia felt something didn't sound right from the way that the goddess was speaking. She was handed the scissors, taking it into her grasp. Something to her was feeling off about this task that the goddess had given her. She turned as she was walking towards a very small, box-like opening. She peeked back behind her with something that seemed like remorse. The goddess seemed to quickly send a smile to her before she turned away from her and walked inside the entry.
It was dark, and there was thump-ing noises coming from the room. And she grasped the scissors close to her, and marched on.
Longing

Leia was walking for some time before she had eventually made it to some large doors. All three of them varied in style, besides the eery feeling that got worse farther down. She knew she had to choose one of the doors, although which one it would be, she wasn't sure.
Eventually, she decided to choose to play it safe, something that seemed to be calling her from the nicer door. The one with a pumpkin in the door.
She soon walked to the door, and pushed it open. She was in a hallway, filled with the sound of a light humming. Not sure were exactly it was coming from though. It brought some sort of comfort in it, strangely enough.
And for a brief moment, she thought she had some some orange things on the ground. Pumpkins possibly. Soon, it was all quiet before she heard the faint chatter in the distance. And without even knowing, she had smiled. She felt it after a moment, but for some reason, she couldn't but it down. Not at that time. It was like she was expecting someone, someone she knew, were there.
Suddenly, the door closed behind her as she stepped inside. Suddenly, pumpkins suddenly came from no where, showing a pathway. As she followed the brightly lit yellow-and-orange pumpkins, it led to an open field. Orange flowers were blooming all over the area, and made her feel calm for some reason. But something else interrupted that.
There was a tombstone in the middle of the flowers. Knowing herself, she walked towards it, soon hearing thumping noises getting louder and louder. There, on the tombstone, was a name that she did not recognize carved into it. "Eira Wen" she said to herself as her fingers grazed the side of the tombstone. "Poor girl." Her fingers trailed downward to see a small pile of dried yellow blooms where her fingers landed. And the thumping noise seemed to have gotten stronger as her fingers landed on the ground.
Sadly, she knew what she must do. She removed the flowers, and began to dig into the ground, trying to reach the heart was. When she had reached it, it was glowing a bright yellow. The heart was bright, brighter than what she was expecting it to be. She began to get closer, and slowly removed it.
In the process of getting it, some sort of vision, memory perhaps, began to play in front of her eyes. "You shouldn't pity someone who isn't even there." said a voice that came from behind her. She must have not known that she had spoken, and hid for a moment before she returned from her spot. She had long ribbons coming from the back of her head, her style in darker grey shades, purples, and black, with bright eyes, sitting on tombstone. Leia wasn't sure who she was, maybe the girl who's heart she was taking. "Alice, we better get you back to your dorm. Right?" She said before she gestured for where Leia was, and kept moving forward, wherever she was going.
And the heart stopped beating. Sadly, before she placed the heart into the bag. Who was that girl? And who could Alice be?

{Alice - Leia}
What once was, was now gone. At least for the time being to the girl. She continued closing the bag up, and slowly got up from the ground to leave, but turned back to see the grave before she continued walking.
And for some reason, the area around her seemed to have been slipping away. Everything seemed to getting smoother, nothing to hold onto. Everything seemed to have gotten into a more eery feel to it. She kept trying to continue walking, but she wasn't able to after she had reached a dead end. When she had stopped, she thought she had footsteps that were not hers. She turned quickly around, but no one was there.
She decided to continue to walk and find a way to get out, but she was soon getting into a colder area, and the sound of water and water puddles being splashed by her shoes. She stopped again, and now the steps, with the added water, was even louder this time.
"Please give it back."
She didn't see anything behind her this time, so she thought that if she continued to walk forwards, maybe she would be able to get away from whatever was there, but she only ended up in water that was around her neck. No way was she going to be able to get anywhere were she was. She tried to tread through the water to get back to where she originally, but something else was there.
"Give it back!" It said as it charged at her, pushing her underneath the watery abyss. Leia struggled under the grasp of the person's strength. She could hear it screaming about something. Something along the lines of a heart. it's heart? It want's it's heart back? But she couldn't do anything in the position she was in, sinking farther and farther down. She thought that she was slipping away, until she looked up, seeing the deep, glassy grey eyes, and the thing baring it's sharp teeth.
But she noticed something. This person, she knew something! She was someone important. She was someone that she held dear to her. It was her friend. Her first friend that she had ever had. They were both shy people, not being good with people, but with each other's help, they were getting much better at being around people. Someone that she cared so much more than one should, but to her, everything to her matter so much, no matter how small.
It shouldn't end like this.
Longing

It couldn't end like this, that was for sure. She was a voice inside her, calling her to continue on. To live. To do whatever it took to live. She must live for the greater good, the goddesses, and their blessings. Her hand slid down her side where the heart was, and held the scissors that she had close to her body. I don't want to do this to you, but I must. I must LIVE! She held tightly to the scissors, and dug them deep into the stomach of the creature that posed as that person that was dear to her.
It screamed, and Leia could see the pain in it. She twisted the scissors inside the stomach, causing more pain. It hurt her to see the pain, but she needed to do what she needed to do to continue on.
And soon, it was gone.
Leia could finally breathe, the water somehow vanishing before her. She was coughing up all the water that was once in her lungs. She slowly looked up from the ground to seeing light. And there, in front of her, was the door. She slowly got up, and walked, breathing heavily as she did.
Once she reached the door, she sensed something behind her. She turned behind her, her hand on the door, and thought that, for a moment, saw it with the scissors held tightly against their chest. She sadly smiled before walking back into the world she was once from.

{Alice - Leia}
"You cannot escape forever."
GODDESS'S ACTIONS
The Goddess looks down at you, one hand gently running over the curved blade of the scythe as if it was a favored pet. "You must face your Fears. Eat or be eaten. That is the way of it here. Were it another time... I wonder which one you would be?"
She drops down from her perch and approaches you, circling you and looking you up and down. "I wonder indeed. Perhaps we shall solve this little mystery? Take this." She hands you a small jeweled dagger. It is a simple blade set with a stone, and from it dangles what looks to be a small claw of some sort.
"That should be more than enough," the Goddess continues. "You will need to learn to fend for yourself, to take on your challenges and judge for yourself what it means to sacrifice. That is the only way you will become stronger, else you'll fall prey to someone greater still." As she speaks the blade of the knife begins to rust, stained with a dark color reminiscent of Ruin.
"You are ready." She announces, gesturing with her scythe. "Go." Her bright glowing eyes are on you until you finally move towards a thin opening. You can still feel her gaze on you even after you leave her presence.
Leia, had come back to them for the next task. And now, a new goddess had shown her face, and her colors. She was soon handed a bejeweled dagger, confused, yet she understood the way that the goddess decided to explain the situation to her.
Eat or Be Eaten.
Leia did not want to go, fearing for what what would most likely end up being what had happened at the Ruined Altar all over again. But she did was she was told, turning her back towards her. She walked towards the thin opening, feeling the piercing gaze of that goddess in her mind.

Leia soon woke up feeling colder than she already was. But something seemed even more strange: When did she ever fall asleep? All she did was walk through the door, and the next thing she knows, she finds herself in here. She felt something cold and hard underneath her. She glanced down to see that there was a metal table there. The bright lights shined down on top of her. They made everything so much brighter, much brighter than what she was used to being in.
The lights seem to be giving off some kind of a hum. A painful dissonance to her ears. She glanced around to see that it was an empty room, with just four plain walls and the bright white ceiling and it's lights above her. She decided that now was the time to try and walk. She did, and soon noticed that there was door in front of her. She got closer, and she noticed that the door was unlocked as well,
She thought that the hallway would be less bright, but it was just as bright as it ws inside. She took a few steps before she heard something slam shut. She turned around to look back in the room she was just in. But nothing had changed inside that room. The door was still open, just how she had left it too.
She turned around, and began to continue her path with slow and steady steps. The hallway that she was in seemed to never end. And just when she thought she wasn't going to be able to go anywhere, she saw an exit. A way out even. She didn't think it was all that urgent to get there quickly, yet something seem odd. This place was too quiet. Too clean. Too sterile.
Thud.
She turned around, hearing something. But when she turned around, she saw nothing, so she continued walking.
Thud.
Leia looked back once more, and saw something. But she heard something. It was a steady thumping of footsteps against the polished floor. It was followed a strange, yet sharp scraping noise. And she saw it, The scissors. It was being held by one of the creatures.
Thud. Scrape. Thud. Scrape. And they began to come closer.
Well, Leia wasn't planning on standing there, that was for sure. And she began to run. Run as fast as her little feet could take her. Until she came to a door. She tried to open it, but it was locked. She looked around the door, soon landing on a keypad. PASSWORD REQUIRED, it blinked in color, with a 9 digit passcode right in the middle of the door.

Leia, starting to panic, was trying to come up with something. Numbers, codes, letters, something that would make sense to her. But nothing seemed to be helping her at this time. She kept looking everywhere, until her eyes landed on a piece of paper to her left, stain in red.
A C E G
What is this supposed to do? How is this supposed to help me? Leia began to panic even more because she did not know what it meant.

Leia was still in panic mode. What in the world were those letters supposed to mean? And then she saw something. Another piece of paper. This time, it showed letters and numbers.
Maybe this is what the letters were for! She thought she began to decipher the words, soon inputing 0 2 4 5 into the number pad.
And the door slides open. And she sprinted with whatever she had left in her, not looking back, even for a moment.

She was still moving, that was for certain. The scenery might have changed, but she knew that they were still there. They were still following her.
She kept running, and running, and running even more. She could hear the figures taunting in the background. Once in a while, she could hear their lound, crunching, footsteps with a steady snipping.
Give us our heart back.
Yes, return it.
Maybe, you can give us yours.
In exchange for what you took from us.
One thing was certain, she wasn't going to be giving them her heart, not one bit. So she kept running, and soon enough, she had reached the end of the woods. There in front of her, was an old, rickety bridge, swaying un-easily from side to side. It did not look safe, but she knew that she had to cross it. One way, or another,

"Don't worry," coos the voice, "It only hurts once."
There is a loud snip and then a second. You feel the sharp pain only once before that disappears too. The figure walks away, one hand holding your Heart, still beating, the other hand holding a pair of rusted scissors.

No, no, no! Leia had said to herself as the figures began to to get closer, and she was not able to move any farther away. They kept getting closer, one of the figures staring right at her face filled with emptiness and its painful silence.
Suddenly, a pair of hands come for her, and another holding into her head. She was trying to move, her eyes looking like a deer in headlights. She could not move. She was paralyzed. She was hyperventilating, breathing heavily, as she could feel the heavy thump of her heart beating in her chest.
"Don't worry," cooed one of the voices. "It only hurts once."
No. No. NO! She kept trying to say, but nothing would come from her lips. She scissors came closer slowly, as if to add aome sort of dramatic effect. And then a snip that only seemed to have lasted only a second. And a sharp pain that was so painful, but that too only seemed to have lasted only a second.
As she laid there, she saw the figures walking. One of the figures holding her heart, and the other holding the rusted scissors.
I was so close. So close. Why couldn't I have made it? Why did I have to look down? Why can I not do anything right anymore! She thought she the moment was fading, and fading fast.

The Goddess's smile grows a little larger as the sees you approach. "Oh! Um, hello. Make yourself at Home." She fidgets a bit, as if trying to find a spot to place her tray she is holding before offering you one of the contents. "Cookie?" Regardless of if you take one or not, she beams at you. "I'm glad you could make it! Those others they weren't meanies to you right? I love you most. You love me too right?" There is an unsteady vibe to the end of her sentence. "Oh, I know! I have a great idea. How about experiencing what love feels like? Love, joy, happiness, despair, hatred, they are all important emotions! We can make the most beautiful tea party together."
She beckons you forward as a gate folds open behind her, an arc of round grey hedges, shapes like foliage. A long rectangular table is at the end, empty. "Go on," she urges, "Oh, I'm so curious to see what beautiful emotions you will make!"
Leia heard a voice from behind her, and she turned to see her. Something seemed strange about her. The Goddess. She seemed very much, childish, in a way. But she took to the kindness of this Goddess. She seemed much nicer than the others.
She decided to be seated next to the table, and just waited. She wasn't hungry, so she didn't grab the cookie yet, although she seemed to really want her to take it. And some strange tinge of an unsteady vibe came from her after her talk about love. She wasn't sure what that was. And she nodded, just in case to keep her from making the situation change.
Experiencing what love feels like? What did the Goddess mean by that? What did she really mean by that? And suddenly, she had Sedna gate open up behind the Goddess, to something that seemed to have been a garden ready for a party. And something yearned for her to go inside, besides the Goddess. And she followed inside.

Quote:
There is ambient music playing in the background, like none you have every heard before. It chimes with the whispers of voices and bells, and feels like nostalgia unexplainable. Odd, white flakes begin to fall from the heavy grey sky, soft and powdery. You hear the light crunch of something strange, more delicate white on the ground. Unlike the fog, it is oddly solid, and yields tiny imprints of your feet after each step behind you.
In front of you is a table. There are two jars, one pink and one blue. The pink jar exudes a happy feeling, one of fondness and kindness. The blue jar emits one of sadness and a little bit of unresolved tension, as if waiting for something or someone. __________________________

You take the pink jar. It has a tag on it.
Drink Me.
As this is a Goddess Task, it would be foolish to choose anything else. You drink all the contents. Immediately, you feel its effects, as a soft, warm happiness overcomes you. You feel lightheaded, but also at peace. It doesn't even bother you when the table begins to spin, just the top of it, overflowing with cloth and then an assortment of snacks. The cake looks extremely resplendent, rich and tasteful covered in icing, while the cookie looks a little more ordinary, albeit not as decadent.

Leia felt strange after she had taken a drink from the Ivory tea cup. Something made her give a slight tinge in her mind. Like a voice. It soon grew louder as if someone was talking to. She turned her head quickly, thinking someone, yet there wasn't anyone there.
Technically.
It seemed to be faint, and soon, the figure began to build a shape and a form. And as the figure began to take it shape, so did something else in her mind. She also began to see that something clicked with this person. She knew who's memory this was.
It was her own.
The memory played out in front of her mind, like she was actually there. There was a girl, as if she remembered her from somewhere. They seemed to have been walking around a school grounds, as of they were both lost. Yet, throughout the entire time, there was something respectful about the two of them. They treated each other in a matter as if they were equals. Not one of them was boasting about being better than the other at all. They were being respectful of each other.

Leia decided to try another tea. She raised her hand towards the Pink tea cup, and brought it to herself and took a sip. This time, she was taken to a memory that filled her with some kind of warmth that enveloped the girl.
She was taken to a place where music was loudly being played, in a dark room lit up but Brit, and colorful lights. Everyone was laughing, smiling, and seeming to have a good time. Leia was dressed a very Victorian styled attire, while the girl from the previous memory was there with another skeleton boy dressed nicely as well. Even was having snacks and refreshments, even laughing at something funny that someone had said. She felt so happy that she could remember a memory like this.
