Oh great. It was another kitten that spoke hello. Those were more annoying than the processors. Nush had no qualms about attempting to silence this one. "I'll do better this time." She promised the male she recognized from the previous battle. It was true enough, in her head; this was the second time in a row the helloing kitty had appeared, which leant well to her earlier beliefs. This time, she wasn't nearly as surprised as she had been.
Proof enough was the way the spike drove into the greeting grey mass.

He was seeing more and more weapons now, and was greatly interested, impressed, and jealous of them. His own blades were wonderful, better than just throwing rocks, but he wanted to hold and touch the other weapons to see what they did. Why the colors? What did they do? Were they stronger? How strong could the weapons be?
Was this, the fighting, what the goddesses wanted?

Acerola saw an enemy nearby. It was another one of those strange kitten anomalies, with their constant mewing "hellos". As usual, others had come on by to join in the fray. There really only were a few times where he actually had fought alone. Hearing one of the females he had seen last time, he merely gave her a nod as she promised she would fight better. And she was off to a good start. Where did all his grand moves go?! He had driven his swords in monsters before, and now he could barely graze the giant cat. Why was the cat, the one with the less sharp edges, so hard to damage? He might as well be trying to attack the wall of the Shrine.
Even for being big and slow, it still gave a hello before hitting him again. Somehow that was a bit comforting. Nush shrugged lightly at the female. He said nothing about her comment regarding him not speaking much, but he did say something about the whole gun deal. "Blades are better. They produce less noise. "I was doing so well with the gun though..." Marati explained, a beat away from whining. His advice was given some serious thought though, as she dove to collect her spike once more. Just focus, huh? That seemed easy enough.
She did just that. Bided her time, waited, and when the time was right...she struck home.

With such a large wound now caused by the spike, Velmin was ready to assist in finishing it off. Helping did not work as great as he had hoped, as he moved in and barely nicked the nearly dead creature with his blades.

Kirki came upon the group battling yet another creature and paused. They seemed to have it handled, but what harm could one more help do? As he picked up a stone and slung it at the creature he realized it wouldn't help much either if he couldn't manage to hit it.
