Maoarxi entered the area. She cocked her head to the side and listened. She heard a voice slowly, softly saying a name. She somehow knew the name. Shes sure she heard it before.

She stopped moving. The hallway seems to be moving with her. She walked slowly.

"Ouch."

She had banged into something. Looking down she saw it was a crate.

"Whats that noise?"

It was a loud thud like noise.

The crate was in her way and it had something sticking out of it. She peered into the crate and saw it was an arm. It was moving around in the crate.

"Is it real?"

She reached out and touched the arm.

She tried to mive the crate she even tried to move the arm. The arm that now was making a noise similar to a heart. She took the scissors she had and started to dig anf claw at the arm getting the heart ouy thay now stopped beatting.

"Xen"

There goes that name again. Maoarxi then had an memory. It was one of a little girl playing hide and seek. In the memory she saw herself hiding and the girl seeking her.

Blessing of the gifted

Maoarxi was ready for next task. She stood before the goddess and listened to what she had to say.

"I am not afraid of anything. I will carry out any task you put before me."

Maoarxi took the blade that the goddess gave her. She was about to put it in her pocket for safe keeping when it started rust.

"What........"

Then there was nothing.

Maoarxi woke up not remembering ever fallen asleep in the first place. She quickly shuted her eyes the room she was in was too bright. She slowly opened one eye and then the other. She looked at her surroundings and saw that she was laying on a cold table. There was four white walls with only her in it.

She got off the table and made her way to the only door she saw. She tried the knob. Lucky it was unlock. She took the dagger out of her pocket and slowly peeked out the door

When she was satisfied she stepped out into the hall that was also bright. She jumped when she heard a door slam. She looked at the door she had just exited and saw that it was still open. A quick lol inside told her it was empty.

She started walking the long hall with the blade in her hand raised ready to strike if need to.

She stopped walking when she heard a loud thud noise. She looked around the door was still open and she was still the only one in the hall. She continued walking. She saw the exit only a few feet away.

She heard the thud noise again and turned around.

"What...."

Black shadow like figures were making their way toward her. In there hands they were holding rusty scissors.

She turned towards the figure. She had a memory if the figure chasing her. In the memory she sees herself and the figure playing at the park. They are both young children. She fell off the monkey bars and her mother was so bad at the figure.

Rolling

The shadowy figure was just talkinf. Talking about things that Maoarxi dis that she had no recollection of. No knowledge of. All it said said was how she failed at each one.

As soon as the door opened Maoarxi started to run. She could hear foot steps behind her.

"A heart for a heart. You took mines now I will take yours."

Maoarxi kept running till she saw a bridge. It looked old and rickety. It looked like it could collapse. Maoarxi had no choice, she had to cross the bridge.

Maoarxu continued to run until she came across a haunted house. Shadows seemed to dance in and around it. The dagger in het hands started to glow.

A memory of het and the figure bits and pieces if it played in het head. In it the figure is sitting at a table eating with two older people a man and a wife. Maoarxi was sitting on the floor in a corner with nothing to eat but scrapes.

Maoarxi turned toward the figure and raised her blade. It was now or never. The figure was coming towards her wither the scissors.
