And, once more, her theory was proving to be correct. This was a monster she hadn't seen yet, and it appeared almost as if on cue right after the third melting one.
"Well, I'm sure I can take you down too...." She murmured, hissing as the creature managed to backhand her as she tried to ready her little gun. With it in close proximity though, she found it easy enough to pull the trigger.

"...? Oh, This?" Marati lifted the small gun again. "It's a gun. It shoots things. I like it." And then she turned to fire on the monster, as if to further demonstrate what it could do.
"....This one was pretty easy!" She marvelled as the thing seemed to melt in on itself, into a puddle of items like the rest of them.

Marati hung behind, waiting for the boy to take first pick at items. When he stepped aside she leaned down, picking up a pair of items that seemed almost attached.
