 Annie walked into her office muttering under her breath about how lousy she felt and holding onto her head as if it would explode. Someone had come looking for her, and she couldn't think of who or why. However, when she saw just who it was inside, waiting for her, it was a contest between emotion: Happy and confused. Though one thing was clear in both her mind and her heart: she was surprised. "Oh my god! Miranda!" She ran for a hug, gentle with a new baby in Miranda's arms. "And who's this?" She awed before remembering to keep back with her germy body. "Stomach flu..." She apologized with a quick explanation.
"It's alright. John has it too," Miranda said, her grumpy three year old laying half awake behind her. "But this is Seanna. Three weeks old tomorrow," She presented her baby girl proudly.
"Three weeks..." Annie said with astonishment. "What are you all doing here? What happened with Hailstone City?"
"I missed Adell..." Miranda said, her tone quickly falling. Then, from the corner of her eye, she spotted another figure. "Hi Tony! Shehsh you got big!"

 Antonio "Tony" Reyes They call me the, "Monster of Adell" Antonio followed Annie out of the infirmary and towards her office. She was being called by an unknown stranger so it was probably for the best that he joined her. He didn't want to leave Annie alone since she still looked a little sad about not being pregnant. She was good at hiding her emotions, but Antonio knew that the news effected her on some level. It was nice that they could still joke about the old days so he decided to keep that topic alive while they walked towards her office. Walking down memory lane reminded him that he had a lot of history with Annie. From the time they were very young to their teenager years. Their time as young adults was spend apart, but they came together as adults. He missed seeing how Annie became the person she was today and she missed seeing how he grew up. Maybe that was the part that both of them regretted or at least that's what he regretted. His heart had become colder over the years spend away from her. Maybe if they had stayed together to watch each other mature then his heart would not falter like it was now.
He walked hand-in-hand with Annie letting her use him for support. Once they reached her office, Antonio let go of Annie's hand so that she could open the door and greet her guest first. He waited by the door in case this turned out to be some kind of business meeting, but once he heard Annie's squeals and a familiar name then he knew this was not a business meeting. Miranda, their old friend had come to see her and to his surprise, she was a mother. He heard that she was married, but actually seeing Miranda with two little children (who resembled her to some degree) was more shocking than he realized. Annie was excited to see Miranda and Antonio was quite happy to see her as well. He watched the two woman hug each other and exchange greetings until Miranda finally noticed him. Antonio grinned, "I've been always been big, you know that." He walked towards his old friend and her baby girl whom she was carrying in her arms. "What a cute little baby," Antonio smiled at the tiny infant. "How are you, Miranda?"Current Team:       Storage:

Miranda smiled. "I remember a time when you were a shorty," She reminded him. "I used to be taller than you for the longest time until that freak growth spurt, you little monster!" She laughed a short snort. However, she was quickly growing more and more uneasy. That rough and tumble tomboy from their school years now had a troubled air about herself. The truth was that she wasn't doing well at all. Not for any problems Annie was having at the moment, but for something deeper and more complicated. "Is there some place we can go more privately? And possibly take Johnathan over to the day care for a spell?"
That caught Annie by surprise, and it showed on her face. "Um... Ya, ya. Sure. We can stop by there and, um... We can talk in our flat." She reached out an arm to guide her friend, weary and unsure of the sudden change.
"Thanks," Miranda seemed at the brink of tears. "Johnny, let's go." Her little boy groaned, barely making any effort to move. "Johnathan Reyes Reaths, I don't have the patience to deal with your sassing today!" She scolded. That got him up on his feet and over to her, but he still had a sickly expression on his face, tired and grumpy.
It was the strange and almost choking moments like this when Annie stayed closer to Tony if he was there, and took hold of his hand again to follow away. "Do you know anything...?" She whispered up at him. It was a long shot, but he and Miranda were close before graduating. Maybe he'd heard something and didn't think much of it at the time.
