Catelyn Reeds The cat's out of the bag! " My lineage goes back, further than the Phoenix's. My greatest ancestor served a mighty prince, I'll have you know, and was his favorite cousin." Catelyn chuckled. She rather enjoyed being old, minus the aches and pains that came with it. Her teeth were still good, her eyesight was okay, and she got the chance to be excused from her own antics by playing a senility card. " I came here as a little girl with my little glameow. My brother had come with me with his houndour. We were always at opposite ends. I liked contests, he liked battles... At times I could swear that he went out of his way to hate all the things I liked." Again, she chuckled, unlocking a door deep in the library. " No one's come in this part just yet," She said, revealing a whole new wing of the library. It was almost... museum like in its appearance--or on the verge of it. " Come, come. I'll take you to my favorite part." She urged the two inside. " I've spent a good part of my later years trying to get back my own family's history. I'm afraid that I'm the only one left now. Come and see!" She said adamantly. Any more insisting, and she might as well have dragged them on. " This page Tito took off with is in the middle of a tome I've been trying to translate. But it uses so many languages, I keep having to stop!" She admitted. " But I know its a good part of my family's keeping. It talks in great deal of the prince my great ancestor served. His name was the easiest part to decode. There's not too many princes with his name." She lead them further. " Oh! Here he is! Or the earliest portrait anyway." She motioned up at the painting. " Prince Rei. Oh, if ever you hear the story of him. Died for a great love." She smiled at the painting and back to Marco and Iris. It wasn't an exact likeness--people tend to forget exactly how someone looks after their death. " Hm? You know what? I don't know why I didn't notice it before: But you look an awful lot like him! Hohoho! Maybe we're related! Auntie Cat. It has a nice ring to it, don't you think?"

Niara “I'm not really a people person...” Niara came in after learning a little bit about blocking hits. Mitus was a decent defense teacher so far, even for a pokemon. But right now, Niara was more focused on recovering from her little revisit of the incident with Team Galactic so long ago. So Niara came in, Loki walking beside her and Mitus put away. As they came in, Loki turned into a Mightyena and trotted along beside Niara, sitting by Niara as she took a seat after taking a book on egg care, setting her egg case on the table and making sure it was safe and ok.
Niara was quiet, keeping to herself as she read and studied. She already ate at her dorm and took care of feeding her pokemon. She had the rest of lunch here to pick up a few egg care tips. All the while, she battled with the memory revisit. In order to try and keep her spirit up, she started thinking of what she could do with Iris and Marco for their first date of the year. It should be something fun... Something we can all remember... Loki just lay down where he was, resting a bit as Niara read and thought. |/Mitus| xxx |/Dasher| xxx |/Loki| “... but I hope we can be friends” Aeroth

【ஐﻬ ιris ﻬஐ】 Јust Hold Me Tight! . ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ The moment that Iris left the cafeteria, she walked with her arms folded under her chest as she looked at Marco. Despite Miyako's parting words, it was Marco's terrified expression told her that he was innocent. Her gut told her too. But that didn't mean that she couldn't get anything from this. While she wanted to apologize to him still... so getting this done faster would help her achieve that.
Meanwhile, she was listening to Ms. Reed speak. Iris smiled as she listened to the woman speak. She had such a history that was not expected at all. Iris looked around, she had been back here before. Where was she taking them? Iris and Marco were in front of a door when Ms. Reed opened the door to a new wing. Iris' eyes widen at the new wing. It was like a museum. She didn't realize that library was so large. It was amazing as Iris looked on with starry and awed eyes. She believed when Ms. Reed said others had not been here yet. Iris followed the woman as she took them to a place that she considered her favorite place. The added excitement from the woman told Iris that maybe some was going to be seen that was cool.
As Ms. Reed was talking, Iris's attention went to the painting. Ms. Reed started to talk about it, a man named Prince Rei. hearing that he died for a great love. That sound romantic. Iris then blushed when the older woman said that Marco looked like the prince in the painting. Iris laughed at Reed's joke.
"Marco here a prince.." she said as looked at the painting and then Marco himself...She really hoped that her blush was gone now. "I see the resemblance."
Iris then pointed to herself. "Hey hey... is there anyone that looked like me..."
If Marco had a prince look alike, then maybe there was a princess or someone of royalty the same where. What if an Iris look like was the great love that Prince Rei. "Is there...is there..."

Catelyn Reeds The cat's out of the bag! " Hm?" Catlyn looked away from the painting. " There are a few smaller portraits... Oh where was that blasted one? It's probably burried behind all these tedious things..." She looked grim at the stacks of heavy tomes, scrolls, frames, maps, ledgers, and so forth. " I know I have one of the last portraits of Caoimhe... That stupid collector in Partright City won't release anything they grab. It's my family's history, and should be returned... dear me..." She sighed as she looked at all those piles. Bending and lifting... a poor old lady couldn't manage that! " Dear boy, would you be a doll and fetch out my portraits? I thinks it's about time Rei sees his beloved again. I only just got his portrait last week and went right tohang it up. But Caoimhe... she's been here without him for what seems like years by now... I think it would be nice to see her." She motioned. " Klaos cre mont edu." She mutter like an incantation. A silence fell, and she laughed. " I guess I don't have my ancestors' gift for casting spells. That's a shame."

Marco Sombra de Milagros I'm back to the place where I matured... Marco followed the cat lady, not sure what else to call her in his mind since she never introduced herself. So as they walked, Marco decided that he would say his name to her so that he could ask for her name and properly address her. "My name is Marco Sombra de Milagros, may I ask what is your name ma'am?" before he could receive his answer, they were just entering the Library and were given a brief history about the cat lady. She was certainly a woman with much experience and Marco was very attentive to every word that she said. He enjoyed hearing stories about a person's life especially when they were older people. They always had such history and stories to tell that he greatly enjoyed. Apparently, her greatest ancestor used to serve a prince which was really fascinating. He didn't know about his family's history at all, the most he knew was about the legends regarding Dialga, Palkia, GIratina, and Arceus because those were famous around his hometown. He wondered if he had any ancestors that served a prince.
While they talked, they went deeper into an unknown area that Marco was not familiar with. Not that he knew his way around the Library, he never ventured far into the building, but he did hear that it was renovated after it was nearly destroyed by Team Rocket. When they reached the new wing of the Library, Marco's eyes widen with fascination. The new wing was amazing! It looked almost like it belonged in a picture, very museum-like filled with books as well as other pieces of history. Marco followed the cat lady letting her lead them to her favorite part of this new wing; he couldn't wait to see it.
She brought them towards a painting explaining that in the painting was the prince which her ancestor served under: Prince Rei. This prince died for love which was certainly honorable in Marco's eyes. The dark-haired teen stared at the picture, the cat lady was correct, prince did resemble on him or in this case he resembled the prince in the painting. Marco wasn't sure how to react to something like that, but he knew that it was just coincidence; there was no way he was ever a prince.
Marco turned to the cat lady and smiled chuckling slightly. "I've never had an aunt before so it would be my pleasure Auntie Cat." His parents didn't have too many siblings or maybe none at all because he never met them. Marco looked at Iris who was asking if there was a princess that looked like her. Marco chuckled, "you're already as beautiful as a princess, Iris." He accidentally slipped out his inner thoughts, but he didn't regret it even though he was blushing a little. He coughed trying to cover his embarrassment. According to Auntie Cat, there was a picture of the prince's princess among a stack of heavy tomes, scrolls, and other artifacts. Marco nodded as he was asked to retrieve the painting; it would certainly be nice for the prince to reunite with his princess.
While looking through the several objects -being careful of course!- he vaguely heard Auntie Cat speak the princess's name which was Caoimhe. Marco finally found the painting or at least what he assumed was the painting and went to face the elder lady when he heard say some strange words. "Casting spells?" Marco questioned, were the words she spoke an incantation? "Klaos...cre mont...edu," Marco repeated the words slowly just barely whispering them.Current Team: Egg(s): Storage:

【ஐﻬ ιris ﻬஐ】 Јust Hold Me Tight! . ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ As Iris looked at the painting, she realized that she didn't even tell Ms. Reed her name. "My name is Iris Haruno." she said calmly just before Ms. Reed told her that there were smaller portraits. When she had asked about the princess, Iris heard Marco said that she was already as beautiful as a princess. Iris looked down, blushing at the compliment. She didn't know to say though the small smile on her face was only a fraction of what she was really feeling. Auntie Cat started to mention portraits that were very much likely buried under the stack of other things. The elder woman tried to bend and lift things. Iris moved to the elder, wanting to her help her. Catelyn decided to ask Marco to help her with the portraits. As she mentioned a woman by the name Caoimhe. The name sounded pretty.
As Iris was imagining what the woman looked at, Marco decided that he would called the woman 'Auntie Cat.' Iris agreed with the name, thinking about the cat pokemon that she had around her.
Iris went to get her pokeball when Catelyn started to say something in a language she didn't understand and then laughed about not having the gift of casting spells.
"I have some pokemon that can help us if you like." Iris said with a grin as let out Ellie and Angel. "See Psychic pokemon to help out with the really big stuff." ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ Team: Rai Zoey Ellie ??? Angel Mood: Attire: OOC:

Catelyn Reeds The cat's out of the bag! Catelyn chuckled as she heard Marco try and repeat the spell. But like before, nothing happened. " It's a shame. Like there's no more magic in the world. Really it is..." She sighed. " But I still believe in magic. How else can anyone explain something as wonderful as pokemon? Oh! My painting!" She eagerly took aside the portrait, nearly dropping it from its weight. " Yes... That's her. Caoimhe, we found your prince! Aren't you happy?" Like any deranged woman, she began to talk to the thing as if it would answer her back. It did not. " I haven't seen her so happy," She went on. " Would you be kind enough to hang her there above that display? I want her to be able to see her prince. There's a lot of catching up to do after some thousands of years. It's cruel to keep them away any longer..." She began to weep in silence. The girl in the picture wasn't at all like anyone Catelyn had ever met. Crisp white hair, silver eyes, and fair skin. She was like an angel: pure, and innocent. " I know Aohd's picture is here too. Best to keep him away for now, until he calms down," She chuckled again. " Which reminds me... Will one of you run this copy of a book I've translated to someone? I hear the headmistress loves to read and learn. Silly girl kept stealing books to stash in her room! Children grow up, but their loves never fade. I'm sure she'll like it. And I have a few more, but I think you're more of a worker than a reader, right Marco?" She latched onto his name fast enough. Fire, Ice, and Shadow The first few pages contained hymns and songs, tales of the prince and princess (and the shadow that divided them). " By the way, mister Marco, The words mean to ascend and become ethereal." She smiled. " The spell is supposed to lift up anything you direct, as if it were lighter than a down-feather." Slowly, she unferreled the page she'd taken from Tito. Among the other spells and small depictions near to them, Klaos cre mont edu was tucked with them. " Breth edmo hrart. That one mean to mend eternally--a healing spell. And Deo mar sol, which mean to light and guide." She walked to an open and thick tome, placing the page back where it belonged. " Maybe it's for the best that magic is gone. Can you imagine if team rocket had birkita spells? We may have never seen light again. And perhaps hope might die. Magic should be used to restore and bring good to the world; but I imagine that wasn't true of everyone who could use magic when it really did exist."

Niara “I'm not really a people person...” Niara read and took notes, being sureto keep an eye on her egg. Her table was a little more out of the way though so when Marco and Iris came in, she noticed them but they didn't notice her. She quickly put the book away and "stalked" as they went through, following the group as the older woman shows them around the new fantasic wing of the library. So big and so many books, tomes, and everything to learn and read from. It was amazing! Niara came up to the group, gently grabbing Marco's arm and hugging it, nuzzling his shoulder with a smile. Hey, Marco~ And hello, Iris. I'm glad to see you again. Loki simply walked up as a Mightyena, nuzzling Iris's leg nd looking up to her for Zoey again. Since he couldn't actually speak, this was now his way of getting Iris's attention and asking to see her.
Niara looked to the woman showing them around. I'm sorry to interrupt like this. I'm Niara Aeroth, a very close friend to Iris and Marco. Um... May I ask what you're showing them? She gave a nervous laugh as she wanted to kind of catch up with what they were looking at and being shown. She was curious. She heard something about a prince and spells but couldn't get much beyond that. |/Mitus| xxx |/Dasher| xxx |/Loki| “... but I hope we can be friends” Aeroth

Marco Sombra de Milagros I'm back to the place where I matured... Marco chuckled joining Auntie Cat in her small laughter. Of course magic was not real! Well maybe not during this time according to her. Marco wasn't sure whether to believe in magic or not, but pokemon were a miracle on their own and that could be considered magic. Even the legendary pokemon displayed an incredible amount of power that regular pokemon did not possess which could also be considered magic. However, those were pokemon; maybe pokemon could use magic, but he never considered a human being capable of using magic. The painting was take from him by Auntie Cat, but after seeing her slight struggle with the weight, he quickly aided her in carrying the picture. She was talking to painting as if it were alive which made Marco smile, he was happy to see so much life in a person her age. Some of the elders back in Celestic Town really liked acting their age, but Auntie Cat's cheerful personality reminded him of a school girl.
Marco nodded as he was instructed to hang the painting so that the Princess Caoimhe could see her beloved Prince Rei. When he was done, he stepped back to admire the woman in the picture; she really was beautiful with white hair and silver eyes. She reminded him of a certain white-haired girl that was also a student of the Phoenix Academy. He saw Holly only yesterday so her face and features were still fresh on his mind. His thoughts were interrupted by Auntie Cat asking someone to make a delivery for her. The deliver was about books and they were for none other than the headmistress of Phoenix Academy. Marco rubbed the back of his head sheepishly towards Auntie Cat; it was true that he was not a 'reader' except when it came to studying for exams. Rather than sitting down to read a book, he would rather be out training with his pokemon or hanging out with his friends and girlfriends.
Speaking of girlfriends, one of them showed up right in that moment. "Niara?" Marco blinked slightly surprised, but that quickly faded seeing her cute face nuzzling against his shoulder. He smiled at her and leaned down to kiss her forehead as a proper greeting. "Hello Niara, I'm happy to see you." Marco's attention was taken away again when Auntie Cat started showing them a book. The words that he repeated from her translated into 'ascent and become ethereal' which sounded very poetic to him. She then flipped through a few more pages and mentioned other incantations. Marco was fascinated with the words and the language. "Auntie Cat, are there any books like those that I could maybe borrow?" He asked her feeling interested. She did make a good point that if magic was real and people could use magic than Team Rocket's attack would have been even worse. However, there was no damage in learning about magic when it wasn't real anymore, right?Current Team: Egg(s): Storage:

Catelyn Reeds The cat's out of the bag! Catelyn was a bit startled by the sudden new comer. She took a gasp with a weary sound jumping from her throat, all the while holding a hand to her chest. " Oh... Oh deary, you shouldn't sneak up on old people like that. I'm not as strong as I used to be--" Catelyn stopped as her persian came around, rubbing against the books and stretching to use the last portrait as a scratching post. " DON'T YOU DARE!" She scolded, going from a gentle old woman to a horrifying dragon once more. The persian stopped, retracting its claws immediately. A small scratch was left on Aohd's face, across his narrow and dark eyes. Cat frowned, wagging her finger at her pesky pokemon even as it came to rub on her in place of an apology. " Hm?" She tried to pick up again where the youngsters had left off with her. " Showing...? Oh! No no no, deary, this nice young man and young lady offered to help me fix up this part of the library. I must have forgotten to close up that door again. I suppose the surprise will be ruined if young folk keep wondering in--how could I be so clumsy?" Her hand moved from her chest to her cheek. " All these displyas still need to be put in their proper place, and these book on their shelves. And there's still a few scrolls, and loose pages I wanted to frame and place on a mantle of their own. There's so much to do... I spent more time collecting my family's history--Phior's history--and only recently got this new wing to set up. I'm afraid I may have gone overboard. I keep forgetting that I'm not young anymore," She let out a haggard laugh. When Marco chimed up, curious about magic spells and incantations, she felt a sense of pride; but still had a disappointing answer. " No... Not right now, anyway. This is the only spell book I've found. It's been a hard go, trying to translate it. But I think I can have a copy made by October if you you youngsters keep helping out. If I can get the history wing open by September, I can spend more time translating and start making a copy. It's not often I find young people interested in my silly old spells and stories." She smiled at him, hoping for an eager worker.

【ஐﻬ ιris ﻬஐ】 Јust Hold Me Tight! . ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Iris looked at the portrait that her and Marco helped put up as Auntie Cat, if she could call the elder woman that, was talking as if the portraits were alive and had feelings. Iris didn't think it was weird or crazy, rather Iris liked it. Not to mention the liveliness of the woman remembered her of Grandma and Grandpa Haruno. They were very active in their old age. Iris had still yet to defeat the woman in sparring match. Iris inwardly was disappointed that princess Caoimhe didn't have green hair or even hazel eyes. Iris looked at her picture. The woman was beautiful. There was no denying that. As Auntie Cat spoke more, adding in about another picture that would be away from the prince and his beloved, one by the name Aohd, Iris stared more at the woman. Her main focus was her long hair. Iris touched her hair once more. The front was the closest to where would be now if it was from the cut that came last winter break.
"I use to have long hair." she said to herself. "I could grow back to be that long...if I wanted to... but I don't..."
Iris turned to looked back at Auntie Cat asked about running a copy to a translated book to someone.Afterwards, she talked about magic. Iris smiled. As bad as people were, she would had love to live in world with magic but the closest she got would be pokemon since they did things that no other person could do. Iris was about to raise her head and volunteer when Niara appeared. Iris turned her head to see Niara nuzzling into Marco. She remembered that like herself, that was now how Niara would greet her and Marco and Marco's peck on her forehead was how he would greet her and Iris. Niara must have been in the library when the three of them walked by and none of them didn't close the door behind them.
This was evident when Auntie Cat was surprised to see Niara with them. While she seemed to scold herself, Auntie Cat still mentioned that she needed help putting up the other pictures that needed to be put in order to be displayed. Iris wanted to see the completed wing once everything was put up.
When Marco asked about borrowing the spell book to see it, she wanted to see the book as well. She 'awwed' hearing that it was the only book that was translated. She didn't outwardly say it but she was interested in the spell book as well. She liked reading and a spell book was thrilling.
Iris looked down to see a Mightyena nuzzling her leg. She didn't know that Niara got a Mightyena. Then Iris sighed, realizing who it was now. "You're looking for Zoey aren't you...Loki. " On cue, Zoey appeared out of her pokemon and nuzzled the Mightyena look alike.
Angel looked at the Mightyena and pointed to him. 'You....The Great and Powerful Angel' -since she had taken a liking to the nickname- 'Challenges you to a battle....after I help out putting stuff.' The little ralts threw her head in laughter 'You will fall in defeat...'
Iris looked to the older. "um..Auntie Cat." she said meekly, "What is the first thing you want me to do if Marco is running the book to someone. I have Ellie and Angel to help with the heavy lifting and I am stronger than I look. I really am. Please, I want to see this wing when it's complete. I want to see Phior's history." ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ Team: Rai Zoey Ellie ??? Angel Mood: Attire: OOC:

Marco Sombra de Milagros I'm back to the place where I matured... Marco blinked seeing the transformation from angry cat lady to sweet Auntie Cat; she was definitely the most interest people he met today. Niara joining them had reminded Auntie Cat that she called them here to help her move heavy stuff that she could not do on her own. While the stories and history was fascinating to hear, they did come here to do a job so there would have to be no more time wasting. Coordination Class would start today and he needed to make sure that he could help Auntie Cat before he was forced to leave. Marco was ready to go back to work when he heard Auntie Cat mention that there were no books for him to take, but that she could be make a copy of the spell book once she finished translating it. Marco smiled excited to hear that, but that they would only receive the book if they could help her. "You can count on me," Marco nodded at the elder woman, "I'll do anything that I can to help."
He was reminded by Iris that Auntie Cat wanted somebody to make a delivery to the headmistress. He wanted to stay here in the Library and help, but Auntie Cat was the boss at the moment and what she said he would follow. "Do you need me to make that delivery, Auntie Cat?"Current Team: Egg(s): Storage:
