New weapon in hand, Mnezara certainly felt a boost of confidence in dealing with the monsters.
Until of course, she missed.

Once again, Acerola found herself facing yet another melting insanity. She flung herself at the monster, with no weapon. Oephis watched the creature with a raised brow, rolling back her sleeves before she launched into an attack. She missed completely and was promptly knocked on her backside. Standing up, she eyed the others around her and shrugged.

There seemed to be no end to the horde of monsters, ready to attack anyone that came near. Where were they all coming from? Whatever, he didn't really care. Mostly he just liked hitting them with his stick. Did these things naturally come in threes? Marati was beginning to think this was indeed the case; after all, this was the second melting thing in a row, and just before that one was three of those computer ones who had a hard time coping with..something.
Still she lifted her arms, tried to aim at the beast, and fired.

Acerola became annoyed at how she wasn't able to land any damage on the boss. She attacked the melting mess once more, but it seemed like she was also unable to hurt it. Furious with herself, Acerola attacked once more AND MISSES ONCE MORE.
