He ultimately realized that his feet, already famous for straying from the direction he wanted once again brought him to the Battle Arena.

In front of him was a monster with a staticky voice.

He yelped.

Heh, a snort-like sound can be heard from the weapon. That's why I called you pathetic. You swore that you'll protect others-but you can't even protect yourself? If I had an a** it will be long ago since it fallen off from my laughing!

"SHUT UP!!!"

In the midst of his rage, he smashed the blades to the monster.

Hah! You can't even get a solid hit. What are you useful for? Leered the blades to him again.

"SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!!!"

He smashed the blades without even minding where the edge was, using them like a ping-pong bat to smack the monster's face-it was confused.

If it does have a mind of its own maybe now it's thinking somewhere in the line of 'HEY MENTAL PATIENT DO YOU EVEN BLADE!!?'

The leering and jeering continued. Eir can only protest to the blade's one-side mockery by trashing around, wailing.

The blades seems to stuck on his hand.

The blade glowed once again, directing Eir's hand to get a solid slash against the advancing monster. Since he stroke on the hard part, he half-expecting the blade would only graze---but it struck deeply into the monster's solid body.

The blade moved again-but this time, his body followed it naturally. Like he was dancing.

The blade struck in the middle of the monster's face. The face cracked, a tiny one at first but it traveled down its entire body, destroying it.

So our strength is the very same as the strength of your heart. If your heart wavers, we will also weaken. If your heart were sad, we will also dulled.

I am you. Therefore my words are your own. Think about it for a while.
Eir could only stare at the blades, which disappeared into his 'heart' afterwards.

He looked on the corpse of the monster.

Eir got 2x as solo Final Hit Bonus!

Your power is growing--and very soon, this form of mine cannot express your resolution. You must find and collect more of those items so I can evolve.

Eir took those words to the heart.
Simply put-in order to get stronger he will need to do more battles.
