It would have been cute, Licraesa thought, if it weren't so utterly unnerving. She raised a hand and smacked it, and it whispered hello (hi, greetings, how are you, good morning, yo) as a litany. A sad, broken litany.

It was simply mindless, thoughtless. The questions faded. The panicking was growing steadily more frantic and the grip on the pendant was nearly white-knuckled, or as much as it could get in shades of grey.

It was sad seeing the kitty greeting while attacking them with its wisps. She knew they were just looking for something, longing for something. Still it wasn't the right thing to do. "I don't want to see it suffer, please do it quick....." The ghouly figure begged the rest of the crowd.
