It didn't feel like he had really been moving around for too long before Nush ran into another of the strange screen-like creatures. He regarded it warily, expecting it to strike. And sure enough, it did. He barely was able to retaliate as it charged straight at him. Lyeb had tried to get back to the shrine, really he had, but instead he had come across one of the familiar beings from his first and only fight. Not only was this other's heart familiar, but so was the creature he was fighting.

Another battle, with a few familiar presences as well, and Hale found herself excited and ready to go. This time she didn't just get socked the first round. She had her fists ready, and hit the creature back when it hit her. Tsumi wasn't exactly expecting a battle, she was mostly just wandering around and happened upon a few other shadows like herself with a strange looking...was it a creature? Whatever it was it struck first and something in her gut told her to strike back. So she did. Nush glanced around at a few of the others. It seemed whenever one of these creatures popped up, others would too. This was a good thing, though. He rushed past the newest arrival and moved to strike. Lyeb delivered a solid kick to the creature, but when it hit him back, he found himself quite far from the rest of the group. In fact, he couldn't see them at all anymore.

There seemed to be a new presence this time around, and Hale found herself admiring her strength. She wanted power like that. For now, she focused on her fists, and managed to graze the creature. The others were as quite as she was, battling this strange creature that kept attacking them. Tsumi had to wonder what it was though. Had it been like them once or had they been like it?
