It was a habit of Bhima's to spend her free time wandering the forest of Jahuar, and although her mother wasn't particularly happy with her wanton exploration, it could sometimes be done under the guise of chores. At the moment she was scavenging, filling a large basket with various edible plants. Mushrooms glowed brightly under her arm as she crouched plucking a bush of its higher-placed berries, the ones not meant for the forest's diminutive creatures. In all honestly, the collection of useful goods was pretty satisfying, especially returning home with a bounty. The Alkidike sighed contentedly and popped a berry into her mouth as she worked. Although she was not far from Andile, she could work in almost constant privacy and calm while the elder sisters worked their trades within the borders.

Licking her lips the warrior was now perching in the upper most branches of a tree in the forest of Jahaur. After her trails with the elders and the unsettling news that had been granted to her she was on the search for Rishima as it had been told to her that he had recently passed his own trails advancing in rank on his own. She felt full of pride for the half breed, but now she had lost track of him with her own trails becoming a roller coaster of information and worry.

Grasping her spear she scanned the ground, she would be looking for the familiar dreads of the half breed, but she had yet to find him. Instead her eyes caught upon the figure of a young sister gathering from the forest. Jerarda knew there was a settlement nearby, perhaps this sister would know of or seen of Rishima.

Tightening her hold on the shaft of her spear she lightly lept down from her spot to a lower branch and on she went until she landed solidly her two feet onto the ground. Standing up straight it was obvious that Jerarda was a sister alkidike of prowess.

"Greeting sister, I am Jerarda. I am hoping you can help me find someone."

Bhima tensed when the sister hit the ground, not so much startled as preparing for the worst. Her natural reaction was to glare, looking the Alkidike from toes to head. It took just about until the face for her brain to process that this was a sister, and apparently one of fair skill. Her face relaxed and she stood, tilting her head slightly to one side.

"Who is it you're looking for?"

As it was, Bhima was fairly certain that she had never seen Jerarda before. Sure, there was a chance that they had passed one another in the settlement, what with its popularity, or on the isles... but she didn't know this sister, regardless. A sister who leaped out of trees at strangers. ...hm.

Jerarda glanced over her sister a brief moment, after all it was good to see if may recognize the alkidike woman, but her face didn't bring about any names and thus she figured it was possible she had never met or seen her before. Shifting her position she looked about as if making sure that they were alone, not that she was worried about other humanoids...more she didn't like being caught off guard by creatures.

"I am looking for my companion, he is a half breed alkidike and shifter and he goes by the name Rishima. We were separated when we had gone to the isles and now I hope to reunite with him." Jerarda explained, wondering just how this girl would react to her looking for a half breed mix. After all their people were a proud race...and despite what the elders had told her, old grudges and beliefs were still being practiced and passed on to the younger sisters.

Bhima peered about them, almost as if the man would suddenly appear, or a herd of rampaging radaku. Seeing and hearing nothing, she turned back up to her sister.

"What are his traits?" she asked, an antenna swiveling. With a half-breed, you could never know how they would turn out. Lasarra looked just like a black humanoid, whereas other half-breeds had antennae, Earthling eyes, strange colors...

This particular girl was unfazed by the thought of a mixed-race friend. She had one, after all, and had seen many more in her time. Depending upon his appearance, she may have even seen Jerarda's friend passing through recently.

"Would he possibly be traveling through Andile? The market, perhaps?"

The older woman tapped a finger on her chin, it was an interesting question and she had to pull up a mental image of him to remember what it was about him that made him unique being a mix blood.

"Well he has two antenna like we do, but his skin changes colors like the shifters do. His eyes are mismatched, one like ours and then the others like a shifters.." She continued and she realized just how much he was like shifters....and yet she had always seen him as a sister, an alkidike.

"No stones one his body however, but he wields a spear." How proud she was that he had become a warrior..though him vanishing without a trace annoyed her greatly.

Well this Rishima was certainly a colorful person, wasn't he? She couldn't imagine that he would have been well-received in Andile, especially if he had been coming from the forest. Still, Bhima was fairly certain that she had never seen a shifting Alkidike, and very likely never a male, either. She was probably the most boy-shaped sister she knew...

"I'm afraid I haven't seen him, although that's not to say he isn't somewhere around right now. If you'd like, I could show you Andile and the places a running sister could be hiding? I'm sure anyone who'd seen him would likely remember."

The older woman frowned, she had some vague hope that this younger sister had seen the half breed, after all how far could he of gone on his own? She was so use to him clinging to her side and being that she was starting to miss him. Tightening her hand on the weapon she went to place it back in its holder on her back before nodding her head at Bhima's suggestion.

"That sounds like a good place to start, I can't say that I have been there so perhaps he did go there. I am sorry I don't think I caught your name." Through all the talk about Rishima she had introduced herself but she didn't believe she had gotten her sister's name. ANd she couldn't very well go into town and have no idea whom she was actually with.

She had not particularly considered her name important when faced with such a clearly experienced sister. She was only a prentice, after all.

"My name is Bhima," she nodded, and then gestured back in the direction she had come, "We can check the marketplace for anyone else having seen him, and from there we can search the outskirts, the cave, places like that."

It was probably a good thing that Jerarda didn't know that Bhima regarded her that important a sister, else she probably would of preened a bit more or boasted about her adventures. Perhaps she was too focused on trying to find Rishima to really let boasting get in the way.

As they moved towards the market place she seemed to be looking around her with a new sense of paranoia. Wondering just how far....those strange creatures could wander...could they be anywhere? Or were they restricted to that dying part of the forest? She didn't want to alarm her new escort...but it would be good to ask a few casual questions.

"Have you noticed anything out of sorts Bhima?" Jerarda inquired, finding any information would be good and be a distraction while they walked towards the village.

"Strange?" Bhima asked, beginning to walk back toward the settlement. It would probably not be seen as favorable that she was taking time away from scavenging to give a tour, but she could always make up for it after they found this 'Rishima' or Jerarda was satisfied.

"What do you mean by 'strange'? I have a feeling that's a bit objective when it comes to a settlement this large."

Jerarda gave a slight frown as she looked to Bhima raising a slight eyebrow, after all she hadn't used the word strange, but she would have to let it drop. Walking forward she couldn't help but want to get into a more wary stance, her spear held tightly in her hand.

"I meant odd, like people acting peculiar, or strange happenings around in or near the settlement? Fires?...people getting hurt?" She continued as she didn't want to raise the alarm but it would be good to know what they were getting into.

The more she knew about this settlement the better right?

It was Bhima's turn to arch a brow. Her stance was relaxed, although with the preparedness a sister of Aisha was expected to hold.

"No, nothing like that in quite some time," she admitted. Drama could always make life more interesting, but she for one was glad that there hadn't been any. Drama was dangerous too, more often than not.

As of the moment, she headed toward the marketplace. She doubted that anyone who seemed to want to disappear would be mingling with such crowds, but it was the nearest populated place to check, followed by the clearing by the lake, the less-populated outskirts, and the inns.

Licking her uppper lip the alkidike wondered if perhaps she was looking int he wrong place for such dangers. At the same time it was a good thing that there was nothing out of the ordinary in this village they were approaching. Shifting her spear in her hands she rolled her head to one side offering some relief to the stiffness that was trying to build there.

"I apologize, my questions must seem very strange...and unusual. I am merely concerned with the announcement of the Fire clan ...that perhaps they may of started to cause trouble already." She lied, of course she didn't want to bring alarm that an ancient evil was trying to resurface and destroy the world. Why cause needless panic amongst the masses?

Though with the ancient evil and the Fire people looming to attack it didn't help sooth her tired nerves.

Bhima nodded.

"I was there when their leader made the announcement. I was no so successful in the tournament, but I have time to train yet." Really, she wouldn't mind trying a spear, but those daggers had felt so nice in her hands...

As they crossed by a clearing, she peered in and around, up and out. There was no movement, no signs of anything larger than a spitorog.

"Here, let me bring you to the market. There will be more sisters there to ask. Perhaps one of them has seen something." She took a hard right and began to jog toward the center of the settlement. Huts and smaller structures now dotted the landscape.
