Adroushan

Zara stepped onto the field of flames. Where is everyone?, he thought. A bit lonely here, but I suppose meditation doesn't work so well with others around. Perhaps some others will come soon. I could use a good sparring partner once my meditation is over. Zara walks to the middle of the field, takes off his shirt and folds it, using it as a sitting cushion. Zara sits with perfect posture atop his shirt, his eyes closed and his hands resting face down on his knees. As Zara slips into his mind, the fire around his body gathers and forms the body of a wingless dragon that dances around him and pulses in time with his heart beat.

Adroushan

Sensing another presence entering the field of flames, Zara, feeling a bit playful, concentrates on his aura and sends it out to twirl around the new comer. Zara watches in his mind's eye as his dragon swirls around a large female fox, performing small acrobatic feats in the air. Show off. Zara continues to sit quietly with his eyes closed to see what the fox will do.

Zara feels the cold of the new presence that was summoned by the fox, and frowns slightly. Why would one come to a field of heat and fire only to summon a being of ice? It must be quite a strain on the female to maintain such a thing so close to the flame. Foolish girl, let's see how long you can hold it. Zara twists his aura around the dragon of ice, the body of flames sliding along it's icy scales. The flames circle around it's body, starting from the tip of it's tail, and continues to wind it's way up the icy body until the dragon of fire is completely wrapped around the ice. Zara's aura keeps moving forward, it's body following the path made along the ice dragon until the flames completely leave the dragon to circle around the young fox, then pass by the ice again.

[OOC - Think of how cats rub up against each other. The fire dragon is just circling around and brushing itself against the ice dragon. I picture the dragons looking a lot like a red and blue candy cane as the fire spirals around the ice. Then the spiral of flames spirals up the ice body as the fire pulls forward, and then leaves the ice completely.]

The ice is mostly gone, but she is still able to retain it's shape. Impressive, though she'll need to keep working with it if she wants her ice to be able to completely with stand such heat. Deciding he wanted to spar with the girl, but recognizing that he still had meditation to complete, Zara spoke. In a deep, warm voice befitting his character, Zara says, "Why don't you join me in my meditation, young vixen, and perhaps afterwards I may see more demonstrations of your skill?" Zara called back his aura, and the dragon of fire returned to it's lazy circling of the young man.

Zara slowly opens his eyes, revealing irises of gold and red-orange, glistening like a living flame. Zara looked at the young woman in front of him and replied, "Meditation is key to control. Do you believe that fire, one of the most volatile elements, is easy to manipulate? Though each elemental is born with the inherent ability to interact with their chosen element, it takes years to fully master." Zara spoke to the young lady patiently, yet in a very kind and warm voice, leaving the impression that he was not questioning the vixen's skills, but simply giving her advice. A smile then lights up Zara's face, "I am Zara. I am pleased to have such lovely company." Zara then closes his eyes and returns to his mediation. "Every day I remain in mediation for one hour, if you can wait that long."

Zara smirked in amusement at Vixen's words. A vixen named Vixen, how original, he thought. That's not very charitable of you Adroushan, a deep, knowledgeable voice rang out in Zara's mind. I do hope you are not under the impression that I give such power to uncouth whelps. I know you have better manners than that. Zara frowned at the dragon floating before him and replied, It's not an insult, just the truth. I like it. It's simple.

[Time lapse: Zara continues to meditate, falling into a deep discussion with his inner self, leaving Vixen to her own thoughts.]

Adroushan

A deep, throaty chuckle of great mirth reverberates throughout Zara's mind. A mischievous young vixen no doubt, but foolish if she believes a thing like meditation would distract us. Zara lays down on a field of soft grass, reclining back into a comfortable position in his mind. Indeed. Our aura engulfs the entire area, and my other senses are open. I wonder though, does she mean to trap us, or simply get us wet? Curious to see what Vixen would do, Zara feigned ignorance as Vixen's wall of water surrounded him.
